Works like it should
I've bought "Apple" products online at other websites only to have the item fail quickly. This time I decided to buy from Sweetwater and so far the adapter is working great. I'm reassured that the item is genuine and that if I do have a problem Sweetwater will help me.
Worked as expected!
Wanted to repurpose my old iPhone into a portable synth. Grabbed one of these Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapters and now I can plug in a MIDI Keyboard and charge the iPhone at the same time. Works great.

I think we all know that Apple products work well.. But they always work that's all I can say. I would like to say more about David your representative. He went beyond the call of duty to help me out on several issues that I was having. Awesome adapter
This adapter is superb.
Got confused a little how will this work but i think i've underestimated this thing.
Aside from it can power up your phone while connected to a camera, you can also connect your audio interface, while charging your phone at the same time. You can do your recording without worrying about your iphone battery getting low.
I can say it's pricy, but it's a worth it stuff to have as part of your gear.
Perfect thing perfect timing
I bought an iPhone 6 brand new for 100 bux but to do vidios , I have a 2004 model h2 zoom field recorder and with this adapter it becomes a fantastic external iphone mic ,

Works as advertised! Works with USB-2 thumb drives , also.
If you have a DSLR, and an iPad, iPhone or Mac, you need one!
I lost mine, so I'm buying another one. Half star off because of Apple's overpricing.
Using it with Ipad to Focusrite scarlet connection.
Works as intended. A bit expensive but with apple products I prefer to get the apple accessories since sometimes other brands may not work very well.
Does what it's supposed to do
It's great that you now can charge an iPad and connect a USB device. But like most Apple connectors, it's way overpriced.
Build quality is OK, but I would consider a backup for gigging. Hopefully third party options emerge before long.
