Absolute Beast
I recently purchased this amp from Sweetwater, through my longtime Sweetwater Engineer Roq Martin and I have to say that I have never owned a combo bass amp quite like this one! It's an absolute beast! The tone is amazing and you'll never lack in power! Yeah it's on the pricey side but, you get what you pay for and this thing is so worth it. Very well built, tons of power and some great tone capabilities! I highly recommend this amp and I definitely recommend working with Roq Martin! He exemplifies customer service for sure!
GK is unmatched. 10/10
I'm well aware of the fact combo units tend to be less popular than cabinets and heads, but I have always loved the convenience of combos, and this GK is the best I've ever had. I won't name all the amps I owned, but a couple "higher end" amps include the Fender Rumble 500, and a Mark Bass 310 combo, both of which pale by comparison. The awesome thing about this GK 212 Legacy amp, is you CAN'T make it sound bad. It has all the classic dials to laser in on the tone you want, but no matter where the dials are, you're going to get a usable sound (maybe not awesome, but useable.) Every other amp I have ever owned, and there have been many, you could easily make it sound awful with the quick twist of a knob, but GK is just engineered differently; they just GET IT. It sounds fantastic at both low and high volume, is built like a tank, yet remains light weight, and looks sexy as hell. Been playing bass since 1995, and owned a dozen or so amps, and this is the king of them all, by a wide margin. The only issue I had was with the GK branded guitar cable that came with the amp, as it was DOA. As always, my sales engineer, Tim Burgess is a god among mortals. Sweetwater turned around and sent me out new, Mogami cable to make it right. Massive thanks to Tim, & the stellar crew at Sweetwater.
Great amp
Does everything I need plus more

I purchased the legacy 212 combo amplifier from Sweetwater the end of last year, it was returned, Repaired and processed through sales engineer Evans Mehre. The process was simple, speedy, and efficient. I will recommend if you're going to purchase something from Sweetwater. Contact sales engineer, Evans Mehre! Great service
GK Legacy 212 combo
I was playing through a GK Neo 410 Cabinet with a GK 700RB head and wanted something smaller and lighter. The GK 212 combo fits the bill. It sounds amazing, its much smaller and I saved about 35lb!!

Perfect Tone and Quality
What an awesome amp. As always, my Engineer James Masterson recommends another winning combination for my rig!! Paired with a Ric 4003SW sounds amazing, with great controls and perfect clarity this GK is spot on for me. If you're thinking about a GK amp that will handle any setting, stage or studio... this is it. Thanks again James for being there to help me out.
Masterpiece!!!
GK amps are absolutely amazing. The craftsmanship on this amp is top notch. Finally I found the tone I've been looking for. Thanks to Josh Hacker for his patience and help.
great bass amp combo
This is one of my all-time favorite purchases. So much clean, raw power and tone control. I marry this amp to a wireless pack from Line-6 and a BOSS ME-50B effects processor and it's a great setup. If I had to lug it around a lot, I might want a rolling case of some sort. I chose it largely for the GK name and for the numerous controls/inputs/outputs - and so far everything about it has performed flawlessly. Kudos GK & Sweetwater.
Not as light as advertised
Great Amp. But mine weighs 52 lbs. Called GK about it, they said they would look into updating their specs.
