It does just what I need it to do.

I have studio one DAW, which their ads and spokespeople don't specifically mention as being seamlessly integrated for plugs- ins, like Arturia would be. However this has a nicer keyboard and very rich features once you have the machine working well inside the DAW. The documentation for connecting encoders is pretty vague, if you take on this machine, ask their very good tech support for help or try a very specifically worded question to AI.

This is my first midi keyboard EVER and man. WHAT AN INTRODUCTION! Bit of a learning curve but as stated previously this is my very first midi keyboard. Watching reviews of the board a few folks said that the knobs and faders felt cheap, I can assure you, THEY DON'T! I was expecting them to feel plasticy when I recieved my board and man was I blown away. Both the knobs and faders felt amazing and have a bit of drag/resistance to them. Great quality, I'd buy again if needed!

Ive only spent one night with it but Im already in love. This controller is absolutely ridiculous for the money. Build, buttons, faders, encoders, key bed, mod wheels all feel and respond well. My use is primarily in controlling Ableton. This thing does so much with so little that it will take some learning and getting used to if you want to really make use of all the features in a smooth and creative way.

Here are the MINOR (and manageable) downsides: I wish the screen would show what the encoders do in plugin mode before you touch them, but you can move the encoder a little and it will display what its controlling before changing the value. If thats important to you, maybe consider the SL series. Pads and Encoders have so many different modes, you may want to be constantly switching modes, which will require some practice if you want to be able to do it during performance.
