The Holy Grail
The Lexicon 480 is the holy grail of reverbs. Best plugin yet that I have in my tool box for the simple reason that it sounds and acts like the hardware version that people like me could never afford. Everything that I put it on such as drums, guitars, and vocals sound like what I have been hearing since the first hardware version was introduced. It's easy to get to that place and to not worry that it wont improve what I have already recorded.

As an "old schooler" and being trained on the SSL Consoles, this was my all time favorite reverb. Once I learned how to manipulate the settings and get that perfect big round space around my vocals and anything else, I hardly used anything else. Now to have it as a plugin along with all my SSl plugins, it's like I'm home again. I use my ears to get that warm 2 inch tape with the Studer reel to reel sound and it's back to 1980 for me! Awesome plugin and works and sounds very very close to the original, if you know what your listening for.

Amazing reverb!
This is now my go to reverb if I want that retro sound. It replicates it to near perfection. The hardware version is still out of reach for most people, and is sought after. For good reason. The plug-in gets as close as it gets.
This is very, very expensive! So make sure this is what you need before you plunk money down.
