Durable and reliable for Performances
I shopped around looking for a direct box after reading reviews about having one for connecting a laptop to a computer for live performance. The ltiblox was perfect for what I needed. Volume control knob and the 3.5 mm to Xlr allowed me to connect the laptop with ease.
My only negative is I wish the cord for connecting to laptop was slightly longer. Otherwise, no complaints! Definitely recommend.
Very happy. Great working DI
Does exactly what it was intended for very well, time after time again. Very happy. I don't go on corporate gigs without these. Great for iPods going into mixers and for audio feeds from video playback on laptops.
As advertised
Great customer service, product on time as promised.
Great to have around!
I am buying multiple units to keep with all mixers and laptops! The local volume control makes it easy for a quick grab as well!
Great little device
I ordered one of these to add to my kit. The first week that I had it there was a problem with the audio feed on a broadcast that I was in charge of hooking up. I was able to dial in to the conference call number of the conference and connect my iPhone into the sound system of the church and carry on. Sound quality was excellent considering the source and much better than other products like this that I have used.
Works great
Works great, small fit great in the gig bag,
Great little interface
This is a great interface to connect a laptop, tablet, or phone to a mixing console. Very quiet-no hum or noise whatsoever and it has a handy volume control. Every where I use it, I end up selling one or two!
Great Value
Works perfect for the corporate meetings we supply AV for, great price, this one does not have the "lift" switch but we are not missing that feature at all. Also, I ordered this Thursday afternoon, free shipping, and had it Monday afternoon in Seattle. Great service Sweetwater!
It works
Wasn't sure how well this would eliminate the background computer noise in our sound system. No hum, no hiss, no dial-up type sounds at all. Just pure, amazingly clean sound that can be increased or decreased before it gets to board. Bought 2, one for smart phone interface as well as computer. Both were installed and dialed in in just a few minutes. Should have bought one years ago for our old board.
RapcoHorizon LYIBLOX 1
I have watched people use these for quite a while and loved them. I guess I just set on the idea for to long. So I finally ordered me one for our group. And let me say this. I won't be caught without it again. It is an item that all people would fall in love with after a first time of use. It's great and again, We as a group love it.
Everything at once!
Do you NEED this product? No...you can do all of this by buying multiple pieces of equipment instead of this. SHOULD you get this? ABSOLUTELY. This amazing interface combines several other pieces of equipment, allowing you to easily connect you laptop, phone or iPad to an XLR cable. My favorite feature of this is the volume control. I often run background pads off of my iPad and it sounds terrible when I try to slowly fade them in on my iPad because it either jumps incrementally or I accidentally slide my finger on the screen and mess up my fade. This volume dial fixes that issue by allowing you to have a rotary dial to smoothly fade the volume in and out. Additionally, you no longer have to get the sound technicians attention for him to mute the channel before unplugging your phone because you can turn down the volume on the direct box. Plus...this product is incredible small and much easier to transport than a full size direct box.
LTIBLOX 1-channel Passive Laptop Direct Box
A small gadget, but bought me a lot of mobility, love it and actually need to order one more.
RapcoHorizon LTIBLOX
Excellent! Fast delivery and works as advertised.
Saved the day
I was able to give a presentation with ease. Before they bent the mike down to the laptop to pick up the sound. Now it is clear and everyone in the room was blown away with the quality of the sound. It made my presentation a hit. Thanks for your help and excellent service.
Great Item! Fantastic interface for hooking computers and ipods into PA systems!
Incredibly easy to use and great sound. It does what it is supposed to do as advertised without fuss. Item arrived quickly from Sweetwater- great service as always from Carson McClain and the shipping crew!
very good quality
i love it works very good
Must Have
A professional sound crew did a production for our church's Easter event. He was using this and was intently intrigued. I snapped a picture and bought one. Now we have three of them. Worth every penny. No more adapters, di boxes or loose cables. Plug and play from your iPhone, tablet, or computer.
Fantastic Product!
Very simple to use and sounds great. my only issue is they are not great over long distance (Think stage to tech booth) as they pick up noise with lack of ground lift
Pro Sum to Mono
This is the cheapest way to professionally and correctly sum a stereo signal such as laptop or MP3 player to Mono for plugging into a mixer/PA board. Plus it has a volume knob as a added bonus.
LTIBLOX Works For Me
I needed something that would allow me to convert a stereo signal from my laptop, tablet or iPod into a combined mono signal to input into my DJ mixer. My PA system, a Bose L1 Model II, is strictly a mono system. this device works perfectly.
The customer service guy at Sweetwater, Evan, really took an interest in my dilemma and suggested this device. He was friendly and courteous. He even called me back to see if it worked out for me.
The only complaint I have is that the 3.5mm male TRS jack is a little too small and doesn't always seat into my audio sources. I fixed this by using a 1/8" extension cable. I plug the extension cable into my audio device and then plug the LTIBLOX into the female end of my extension cable and all is good now.
Great little devise
This is one handy little devise. I have only used it a few times but so far it is easy to use and gives great sound. I have used it for computers, MP3 players, and a portable CD player. quick and easy. Would have given 5 stars but have only had it for a short time, so I can't speak to longevity.
Perfect for Laptop to one powered speaker
I needed to amplify folks on Zoom in a hybrid meeting situation. It worked perfectly to sum the stereo out of the laptop headphone jack into a mono xlr I could run into a little 8" powered speaker so folks on Zoom could be heard in the meeting. The built in volume control was icing on the cake. Much easier to adjust volumes next to the laptop versus on the back of the speaker.
Solution for unbalanced input
I had a noise problem created by having an unbalanced input to my EMX7 while also having to use phantom power for a condenser mic. I was using a tablet to play music with an 1/8" to XLR cable. When moving from one song to the next there was a noticeable pop sound - much like a needle dropping onto a record. A quick call to Sweetwater technical support and I learned of the cause.
The Rapco LTIBLOX direct box solved the problem It converts an unbalanced signal out of the tablet to a balanced XLR. Worked perfectly. Problem solved.
A "Nice to have" item
This is one of those items you always wish you had.
A simple and easy way to connect a laptop to the sound system.
Works as it should
not for constant use
I use these often for AV gigs. About a year old and they are always failing. Shorting out.
