Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Plain Top Electric Guitar - Inverness Green Reviews
The Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Plain Top boasts the classic design that's kept this solidbody electric guitar relevant, played, and loved throughout the decades. You get tried-and-true maple-over-mahogany construction, and its '60s Burstbucker pickups milk every ounce of tone out of its musically resonant body. The Les Paul Standard '60s Plain Top's set mahogany neck wields Gibson's time-tested SlimTaper profile, and its Plek'd 12-inch-radius Indian rosewood fingerboard offers playability that's second to none. A Graph Tech nut, ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge, aluminum stopbar tailpiece, and Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons round out this Les Paul Standard's hardware. You also get single-ply body and fingerboard binding, acrylic trapezoid fingerboard inlays, a mother-of-pearl headstock logo, and a spotlight-stealing nitrocellulose lacquer finish. If you've been wanting a modern Les Paul with a slinky '60s feel and premium appointments, Sweetwater has your axe. The Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Plain Top is the one you've been waiting for.

everything i hoped for and more!
of course... you shouldn't be surprised when i tell you that this Les Paul is a dream come true. i am SO happy with it. Gibson has not rested on its laurels. it's every bit as good as the legend says it is. my goodness! what an honor to own one of these. my Sweetwater sales rep (Adam Hunter) was instrumental in helping me turn the dream into a reality. my sweet tooth has been totally satisfied! i really hope you get to experience how wonderful these guitars are for yourself if you haven't already.
Beyond my expectations!
In the range of Les Paul sounds, this is on the "Tele, but bigger" end of the spectrum. Plays beautifully and the Inverness Green is a stunning color.
