Solidbody Electric Guitar with Mahogany Body, Maple Top, Mahogany Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard, and 2 Humbucking Pickups - Ocean Blue

The Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Figured Top boasts the classic design that's kept this solidbody electric guitar relevant, played, and loved throughout the decades. You won't be able to take your eyes off this Les Paul Standard's figured maple top, and its '60s Burstbucker pickups milk every ounce of tone out of its musically resonant mahogany body. The Les Paul Standard '60s Figured Top's set mahogany neck wields Gibson's time-tested SlimTaper profile, and its Plek'd 12-inch-radius Indian rosewood fingerboard offers playability that's second to none. A Graph Tech nut, ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge, aluminum stopbar tailpiece, and Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons round out this Les Paul Standard's hardware. You also get single-ply body and fingerboard binding, acrylic trapezoid fingerboard inlays, a mother-of-pearl headstock logo, and a spotlight-stealing nitrocellulose lacquer finish. If you've been wanting a modern Les Paul with a slinky '60s feel and premium appointments, Sweetwater has your axe. The Gibson Les Paul Standard '60s Figured Top is the one you've been waiting for.

Les Paul 60’s Standard Ocean Blue

By Lance from Lakeway TX

Sweetwater and Alex Mattingly got it to me in great shape. I have played it every day, and it's definitely one of my best guitars. I do have a Les Paul Standard Goldie with a 50s neck, and I compared the two, using a flexible tape, and I can hardly tell if there's a difference. But I have Music Man guitars as well as Fenders, so I play a variety of necks, and like them all, for what it's worth. The Ocean blue top is primo, and I have had compliments on it. All the bells work as they should. Love it. Thanks Alex, for taking good care of me over the years.

Oceans away!

By Chris from Ohio
Music Background: Band member / writer / producer

Absolutely gorgeous top. One of the most accurate playing guitars I've even owned due to the Pleked system neck. Feels slightly sterile however, perhaps just needs broken in. My comparison guitar is a '76 Les Paul that is worn like an old pair of blue jeans, so perhaps thats not being fair. A joy to play with Floyed Rose top mount whammy installed, one of the smoothest whammy bars Floyed ever conceived by his own description. Highly reccomend.
