Solidbody Electric Guitar with Maple Top, Mahogany Body, Mahogany Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard, and 2 Single-coil Pickups - '60s Cherry

Gibson is no stranger to innovation and groundbreaking advancements in instrument design. Now, the company introduces a groundbreaking Les Paul that masterfully blends the fiery character of vintage-inspired P-90 DC pickups with an innovative transparent hum cancellation design and built-in boosting capabilities. And even better, this remarkable instrument was expertly crafted under the guidance of the legendary Warren Haynes. As the mastermind behind Gov’t Mule and longtime lead guitarist for the Allman Brothers, Warren, in his conjunctive efforts with Gibson, has conjured a dynamic and searingly sassy medium for lead lines that resonate right to the marrow. Its Vintage '50s neck profile and 22-fret, trapezoidally-trodden rosewood fingerboard fuel an old-school feel that Les Paul enthusiasts will absolutely adore. This pickguard-less slab of maple-topped mahogany comes dressed in a striking '60s Cherry red finish, with a Tune-o-matic bridge and Keystone’d Kluson-style tuners up top to round things out with a soulful and effortlessly cool vintage vibe. Don’t wait — grab yours while we got 'em!

great but not for me

By Paul C. from seminole, FL
Music Background: gigging semi pro

Sweetwater worked with me -Tiberius is awesome. However, while its a great guitar, know what you are getting. For ME, the boost switch is in a awkward spot for switching fast live. Next, I didnt love the pickups, and when I started looking at replacing the pickups with regular gibson p90s I realized I could just buy a les paul standard with p90s, and so I returned this and bought the p90 standard in tobacco burst. The warren haynes les is a nice guitar, but dont buy i5 simply because it has warren haynes name on it, know what you want, and know what you are getting.

YES and no

By Peter A. from BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ

I have had this guitar for a year. I love the 50s neck, I love the cherry red finish, the pre-amp boost is neat, I really love almost everything about this guitar - except the pickups. These are not p-90s, these are p-90 DC which means they are "noiseless" and these sound worse than Fender noiseless. I swapped the pickups for regular Gibson p-90s, and now I have what I think might be the perfect guitar, but that's an additional $.

My New Favorite Les Paul

By Monty from Virginia Beach

I can't put it down…. The P90's are super touch sensitive and are a completely different sound than the humbuckers I have become accustomed to. Easy to play, even with the 50's full neck, still able to wrap my thumb over top of the strings like normal. Amazing tone in all 3 positions. The boost switch is what first attracted me to this model, (and it's great) but the playability and the P90 tone is why it's my new favorite LP!

Soulshining

By Brendan R. from Motown
Music Background: Dad Rocking the Suburbs

Fantastic instrument! The noiseless P90's are sonically beautiful and different than humbuckers.
The fit and finish are outstanding, neck is chunky and comfortable.

My favorite features are the 15db boost switch and that Warren opted not to have his name anywhere on the instrument. Why? Lejunds are know, don't need their names everywhere.

A tone monster

By Billy from Illinois
Music Background: 70's and 80's rock

I picked mine up at Sweetwater on 3/11/25. After a 3+ hour drive home I was able to run it through my rig and was instantly amazed at how great it sounded. If you're a fan of 70's rock this is the perfect guitar. I spent 2 hours playing ABB, Free, Bad Company, Skynyrd, Led Zep and anything else I could think of. This guitar doesn't disappoint. The boost feature is a nice little extra bump in the signal as well. Based on how you like to set your tone knobs, the sky is the limit. Best tones I've ever heard from a Les Paul. Clean and dirty tones are both fantastic. The finish was great as well. A very beautiful instrument. I couldn't find any issues at all. The price isn't much different from a 50's Standard, and the fit, finish, and tones are fantastic. Thanks to Gibson and Warren Haynes for such a great design. Hands down the best Les Paul I've ever owned. And a big thank you to my sales rep Toni. You're the best!!!
