I am very happy with my Epi Les Paul Tribute.
This is my fifth Epiphone Les Paul (different models). I thought it would be like a Epi LP 100. This guitar is much better than the 100. Weighs more. Better pickups. It has Binding and better action. It has great Tone. Just a great guitar for $. Wow!
When I first tried to order it, there weren't any in stock and I had to wait a few weeks for them to be back in stock, but it was well worth the wait
It is a lot darker than the pictures. A LOT. I like it just fine
The setup was excellent out of the box, with the intonation near perfect. Surprise! Yea!!! The action was right where I like it. Not to low, not to high.
As expected, the tuners were of a lesser gear ratio and slipped a lot, but I had already ordered some Grover 1:21's. Stays in tune great now.
I am not a fan of pickup covers, and already owning 3 other Epi's with them, I decided beforehand to remove the covers as soon as I changed the strings and gave it its first setup.
I played and recorded it before I took them off just to hear the difference
Then I played and recorded it again, and listened to it back
Sounds like a different guitar now. More meat on the bone.
This thing is a monster now. Kirk Hammett cannot have it!
Very Happy I bought this guitar from Sweetwater. I have been shopping at the other deli stores for ages and the breads were always dry, so I tried Sweetwater.

Epiphone Les Paul Tribute
Beautiful guitar and great feeling neck. Only reason for 4 1/2 and not 5 stars is the set up.
Everything was off. Relief, action, and intonation were way off and the pickups were way off too.
After a few days of adjusting and settling in it now is fantastic.
I recommend this value Les Paul. Just be prepared to set it up properly.

I've had this Les Paul Tribute for a while now and I can say I love it Plays so nice sound is that Les Paul sound you want feels great in your hands looks are great it just is nice to sit and look at like having a piece of art a painting to hang on your wall or put on a guitar stand to display. My friends tried it they love it and again easy to play hold I can't find all the right words to just say I Love everything about this Guitar and so glad I bought it. No disappointment here you a beginner player buy it you will be glad you did you been playing for some years buy it. Every Guitar Player needs a Les Paul of some kind ok maybe couple LOL I recommend this Les Paul Tribute would make a great Gift for someone to they would love it. Hope this helps you
