This is a keeper ! I love this guitar !!!! First gig a week ago and it sounded fantastic ! I recommend this for anyone that likes a great playing guitar. A big shout out to Paul Rowan for all the assistance on my order ! As always Paul went above and beyond ! Again - Great guitar !

This kinda hurts because I've always been a Tele man. My mentor has always been a Gibson lover & we have some good natured ribbing back & forth. We went to guitar center one day just looking around & nothing stood out or really caught my attention, except this gorgeous Green Ocean Les Paul. It was like it was calling my name. I tried to put it off as long as I could but I couldn't get that guitar off my mind. I called Josh Estock my sales engineer & he made me a deal I couldn't refuse. This is now my #1, it absolutely blew me away when I plugged it in to my Supro Titan. Finish is flawless, neck is silky smooth, action perfect right out of the box. Josh you are the Man

Fed Ex dropped off my new Classic T yesterday and I unboxed right away like Christmas morning.. Really appreciate the 55 point inspection before they get shipped. Feels great and I played at a gig a few hours later. Everyone including my wife(thank God) loves the look and sound.This is my 3rd
Les Paul and you can really feel the upgrades--the neck is really comfortable and rolled edges already feel worn in and ready to go. Did I mention the guitar smells like Candy???? Way to go Gibson and thank you Sweetwater for the deal... Kurt you Rock !!!!!!

Let me start by saying Rob Kramer is the BEST salesman I have ever had the pleasure to deal with, I purchased the Les Paul studio in Black Cherry it came I opened the case to my shock I got a Ocean Green LP Classic !! I said can't be I can't afford the classic and I got a little pisst off cause here I am with a great guitar that now I have to send back and when the studio comes how can I be happy with a studio vs the classic ?? Well I called Rob told him what happened he said give me a day and we will see what we can work out , I said ok not knowing what will happen we'll not to keep goin on ,, he call me asked me for the serial number and said the guitar was MINE no extra charger WOW WOW WOW that is one Great company Sweetwater!!! They standby everything they do and sell !!!! Thank again Rob Kramer 5 STARS !

Amazing guitar.
Probabaly the best playing and looking les Paul I've ever played, and I've played a lot.
I think Gibson has really turned a corner.
This guitar exudes quality and craftsmanship.
The finish is perfect. I've searched this guitar over and over and cannot find a single flaw.

This is my first Gipson. I have always loved the Les Paul. The playablily is awesome. The tone is amazing. It holds tune amazing. the pickups are Gipsons 57 zebra dual humbucking and the really work so well with this guitar. I don't think I could ever go back to any other style of guitar. Spend the money it's worth it. The color is amazing as well.

I just received this Guitar from Kevin Spunde at Sweetwater and I must say that I am impressed. It has the classic crunch of a Les Paul. Out of the 20+ Les Pauls I own, this is one of my new favorites.

This is by far the best playing and sounding guitar I own. The finish is absolutely gorgeous. It's difficult to put down. It's also the only guitar I've ever purchased that has a correctly filed nut out of the box. That's maybe a weird thing to point out, but factory nuts are often so high and poorly cut that I was pleasantly surprised I didn't need to touch this one. I'm also really liking the 57 classic pickups. I've tried the other pickup options from Gibson and these are by far my favorites.

There are, however, some flaws. The first one I had was almost perfect, but had the "fretboard hump where the neck meets the body" issue that seems to be common with LP's. Sweetwater looked after me, of course, and got a replacement out. The replacement's neck is perfect though it has a few other flaws that unfortunately seem to be common with these guitars: crooked tuners, poor saddle slot alignment, color inconsistency around the binding. None of these things are deal breakers especially given how the guitar sounds but are sort of annoying and disappointing for an instrument at this price point. There's just no excuse for Gibson to be sloppy on some of these things that would be so easy to get right.

One other weird thing. The first one I had came with the 2017 style case that says "Gibson USA" on it and the guitar always had an intense (and pleasant) vanilla smell when it came out of the case as Gibsons usually do. The replacement guitar came with what seems to be the 2018 style case that only says "Gibson" on it. This guitar smells like a mix of vanilla and wet dog/vomit when it comes out of the case. I left the guitar out of the case for 24 hours after which the guitar only smelled like vanilla nitro while the case only smelled like dog. Maybe I'm reading too much into the logo change, but my case definitely smells awful. Maybe they changed glue or something, I don't know. Hopefully some charcoal odor absorbers will fix this.

Overall, the guitar is so fantastic that I'm willing to forgive some of this stuff. But I am a little annoyed about it though. Sweetwater support has been outstanding (5 stars for them, for sure). They continue to be my benchmark for what customer service should be.
