Very nice work by Epiphone
I was not even in the market for a LP style guitar, but accidently stumbled over some online reviews about this guitar and it caught my interest. After watching many videos, I decided that this may be a good fit for my style of playing. So I pulled the trigger and ordered the guitar. I could not be happier with the guitar, tone and playability. Very nice construction. Definitely an upgrade to my 2003 Epi LP with aftermarket pickups and wiring. The guitar just resonates much better and the pickups offer clarity and warmth I have not found in my other guitars. Well worth the money in my opinion and Sweetwater was great as usual.
Great guitar
This is a great well playing guitar. I added the battery pack so I just charge it after playing quite a few hours. Would greatly recommend this guitar

Its about a three week wait..but that's OK...
5 star on the ordering process
I'm hoping Sweetwater takes the time for a good set up in their inspection process.
I'll update rating when received. Pretty excited on this one!!
Wow! well spec'd and well made,
I have avoided Gibson guitars in recent years because of the serious QC issues they've been having for some time. Not owning a LP style guitar at the moment, I took a chance on the Epiphone as I have heard a lot of positive things about both the build quality and consistency of particularly the prophesy series. not to mention that unlike Gibson, they have pricing that's justifiable. When I saw the specs with 24 frets and coil tapped, dual voiced fishman fluence pickups, I took a chance and bought one.
All I can say is wow! It came just how I have come to expect from its setup/inspection at sweetwater...intonated, in tune and ready to play. It plays, feels and sounds beyond my expectations! I have had it now for a couple of weeks, and I like it more and more every day. Highly recommended.
Poor Manufacturing Quality
The #8, #11, #14, and #22 frets were high under the 5th & 6th strings. The worst was the #22 string which gave a constant fret buzz from the nut all the way down to the 22nd fret. Everything else about the guitar was fine. It was very beautiful in appearance. The guitar was returned for refund. I'll never buy another Epiphone again as this was my 3rd Epiphone negative encounter.
