I got these 2 Kali 8"monitors to replace some Yorkville 6"monitors that I have had for almost 25 yrs….I REALLY liked those Yorkvilles but the active amp circuitry was beginning to cause significant hi end hiss…after setting up the Kalis, there was a noticeable difference in the tone/default eq in them compared to my old ones…they sounded rather dull…I set the dip switches in back to boost the hi end a little more and now they seem a little brighter….the low end of course has a significant boost/fullness thanks to the 8" woofers…I'm 68 now, so I hope these are the last monitors I'll ever need!

These are awesome! I considered quite a few different monitor speakers priced under $ (for a pair). The reviews for the Kali LP-8 V2 were all high, and my gear advisor (Ryan Sloan) was crazy about them. And boy were they right! These monitors are clear, articulate, they present an amazing stereo image, and they expose the flaws in my mixes so I can address them. Absolutely amazing at this price range. These speakers tested better than some monitors costing over $ a pair. I couldn't be happier.

This was a really great purchase. Love the depth and quality it provides at low and high volumes.

I bought a pair of these a few years ago as a backup for my more expensive speakers. I've had a ton of mixing work lately, and I was having a really hard time getting mixes to translate as quickly as I would like. After a few weeks of struggling with what I was hearing, I decided to pull these out of storage and give them a shot. To be honest, I wasn't expecting to hear the same detail out of these that I get out of my daily drivers, but as soon as I fired them up, I was completely blown away. All the information was there, and I could actually discern the low mid/bass information better than I could on my main speakers. I'm taking off 1/2 a star because they are not as open and clear as more expensive speakers, but that's what the IN series is for. I plan on keeping these as a backup and grabbing the IN's when they are in stock. Just crazy good monitors. Not just for the money. Excellent tools that will serve you as a proper monitor in your studio.

First, I was impressed by the quality of sound. The first recording I listened to was Eagles Desperado and it was if the were standing in front of me playing live. Very very nice! I've used Yamaha, Rockit, Berhinger, JBL, Tannoy, et., This is my first pair of Kali. So I actually don't have as good hearing in my left as in my right ear and yet the detail and clarity is good enough for me to hear all the nuances without turning my head. So....we will see. More changes to come, my current AI, I feel, experiences clipping too easily so I am also getting a SSL12 AI - 32 bit/w 62 Db range and hoping for a ton of headroom while being loud enough for my taste. Needless, first impression, Kali makes a very nice product...Kudos to Mr Keech for his help with this!

I got a pair recently and I'm very happy with this purchase, I wasn't expecting that much quality due to the price, but they exceeded my expectations and more, everything's extremely clear, I have nothing bad to say about this monitor only good. Beautiful monitors.

The time finally arrived to upgrade my studio monitors and I wasn't sure of which brand and model to go for.

After my sales rep, Patrick alerted me to these Kali LP monitors I was quite intrigued and did some more research on them. I hadn't heard of Kali Audio before, but after seeing all of the positive feedback these monitors have been receiving, I decided to pull the trigger and purchase a pair.

I first chose the LP6, but figured that for just $ more I could go with the LP8. Patrick let me know that the LP8 has more bass response than the LP6 which was a major deciding factor when it came to purchasing these instead of the LP6. Seeing as I currently don't have a subwoofer, the 8 inch was definitely a better fit for my needs. And with these being part of my small apartment living room "studio" setup, a subwoofer isn't really necessary.

I started out with the PreSonus Eris E3.5 BT (which I'll be keeping as secondary reference monitors), but was in need of larger, more accurate sounding studio monitors and the Kali LP8 V2 definitely fit the bill.

Crystal-clear sound, heavy-duty, quality construction, and absolutely gorgeous, these monitors are amazing quality for the price. They can get very loud! But, even at really low volumes you can still hear the clarity and punch of the bass. I am seriously pleased with these Kali LP8 monitors!

I'd highly recommend these to anyone looking for bigger, better, and more precise sounding monitors that are priced around the $ range (for a pair). Priced at $ a piece makes this an excellent deal!

P.S. Hooked these up to my TV and was blown away! Very impressive! An added perk when not making music.

When the speakers arrived, I didn't realize how big they were! These speakers are amazing and great for the price! The quality and delivery of sound it amazing! The frequency and bass is clearly heard! You either go big or go home!

I was looking for a pair of monitors for my keyboard and a friend of mine recommended Kali Audio. After setting the monitors up with the instructions on the back they sound really good. I haven't noticed any of the crackling that other reviews have mentioned. Overall, I would recommend these monitors.

These studio monitors give you crispy clear sound quality! Helps when it comes down to getting a good mix on your music! You can hear everything! They make a big difference if your serious about your music! I am pleased with my purchase! I would highly recommend these studio monitors to producers and engineers!

Can't find a way to edit my previous review. After a few weeks of back and forth with Kali technical support, they sent me a couple of replacement amps with new firmware on them. Swapping them out was easy, and it resolved all of the issues I had. They sound great. Great customer service!

I love having the bass port in the front. These speakers make everything sound better.
