The Latin Percussion Splash Claw makes it easy to add a cymbal up to 16" in diameter to the rim of your snare, tom, conga, or other hoop-tensioned drum. Thanks to the rubber-lined attachment grip, you'll notice remarkably little vibration transfers through the Splash Claw, yet it stays firmly attached to the rim of your drum. Another thing Sweetwater drummers really appreciate about the LP Splash Claw is the ratcheting mechanism that keeps your cymbals from freely rotating. Add to that a handy Z-shaped cymbal arm with felts and a heavy-duty wing nut, and adding a cymbal to your drum couldn't be easier.

This is a great piece I have used it to put a cowbell and splash on my kit saving so much space and very easy to setup and move around it's awesome.

The Claw with splash mount is well made, convenient to use, and is at a reasonable price. I very very happy with my purchase.
I bought Sabian's "quiet-tone" first, but I prefer the Zildjion "Low-Volume".
The Zildjions are warmer sounding. I bought a few clamps for the extra Sabians. I think I'll try some Tama gear next. They have good drum hardware. I have a "Cajon" by Meinl that I wish to add a bass-drum & cymbals to for the percussionist (the lighter "Gospel" stuff can use "Cajon"). Ned Burgos, Mont Vernon, N.H.
