Korg LP-380 U Digital Home Piano - Black Reviews
The Korg LP-380-U digital piano is an update of the LP-380-U — a longtime favorite among pianists at Sweetwater — that adds USB Audio/MIDI for easy connectivity to your favorite computer music software. The LP-380-U boasts an advanced soundset with 30 incredible sounds derived from Korg’s flagship keyboard instruments. The LP-380-U employs Korg’s beautifully responsive RH3 (Real Weighted Hammer Action) keyboard, which gives you a heavier feel in the bass register, progressing to a lighter touch in the treble range — just like a real acoustic grand piano. Korg packed the LP-380-U with sophisticated features, including the choice of nine different temperaments to support a wide historical and cultural range of music. And with its sleek, stylish cabinetry, the Korg LP-380-U will grace any room in your home.

Great Piano with Built in Audio Interface
I needed a digital piano that would feel and look at home in my living room. It also needed to have a great keybed, a few good sounds and good speakers.
One of the best features about this piano is the audio interface. This piano comes with only 30 voices. But with the audio interface and a iPad or computer, you can add 1,000 of sounds via apps. Once you install the apps they play through the piano's 40 watt speakers.
I would recommend this piano to anyone needing a good looking piano in their home. It's greats for practicing and entertaining. The build quality is also top notch. I was actually willing to spend a couple thousand more for a piano with these specs.
Korg Digital
I don't usually write reviews, but if I had seen one like this I would not have bought it. I was looking for something with a big sound and a nice touch - and this meets that need nicely. However, I had been concerned about the music rack before purchasing and should have gone with my instincts. I purchased this for a teaching instrument and to haul to venues for recitals and it won't work for that. The music rack is not well designed and sheet music won't stand up in it. The rack is pretty straight up rather than leaning back, and the must just flops over unless you put something stiff behind the sheets. This won't work for outdoor performances because you can't clip music to the stand. I wish I had purchased something, anything, different. I've bought other digitals from Sweetwater, more and less expensive, and they are better than this. Also, every once in awhile, this makes an odd buzzing sound while being played.
