Sounds great, well built
The LP Groove Wire is my first cajon and so far I'm impressed. I'm new to cajon playing but it's easy to sound good on this instrument. It has a great tone with snares that are prominent, but fortunately don't overwhelm the listener when playing bass notes lower on the cajon. Sweetwater's video demonstration does a good job capturing the sound.
I bought this cajon partly because it was taller than most, which I figured might be easier on my back, but the height doesn't seem to matter; next time I'll try getting longer arms. Although it's big, it's not unusually loud, so it's usable in an apartment without bothering the neighbors.
