first time owning an ESP/LTD
Right out the box, the obsidian metallic is beautiful. Light weight, Hipshot lockers and hipshot bridge topped off with a thomson fishman. comfortable to play, all in all one of the best and favorite guitar I own. shred ready out of the box.i will most definitely be buying more ESP/LTD guitars
David is the absolute man. After going back and forth with (name in the review title) for over a month, preordering the guitar, set to having it arrive hopefully shortly after. Nope.
Canceled my preorder; they broke my heart, they led me on. They gave me false happiness.
Along came the man David, He assured me he would put the gear in my hands a lot faster than who broke my heart, same day I canceled my first preorder, I'm on the phone with David. We put the order through. Bing bang boom! Ordered.
Now the guitar itself… let me explain, I'm a connoisseur of signature guitars. Preferably Slipknot. Mick Thomson is the man; hearing that he signed over to ESP practically made me cry, I had to get my hands on his signature. Ibanez, Jackson and now his ESP signature are all in my arsenal. Hands down one of the smoothest guitars I've ever played. Sustain is top notch, the chugs slap harder than a DV charge (relax it's just a joke) , You can't even play 'Smoke on the water' without headbanging like the man Mick 'SEVEN' Thomson himself.
I'm truly glad I made my choice in the RIGHT company to buy my gear from and a special double kudos thumbs up high five cheers to the man David M. again again and again!

This is my first ESP I've ever purchased and I must say this is hands down the best thing I've spent my money on. The build quality is phenomenal and feels amazing to hold and play. While it only has 1 pickup, it is hands down one the meanest to exist. I put the gain on my amp to 10 and it just begs for 11. So it handles dirty tone with ease. The Neck is super smooth and comfortable. Last feature I want to mention I love about it is the 3 channel voicing switch. It really lets you shape your tone sonically which is something that barely any guitars let you do at all. Side note too, it stays in tune better than anything else. Must buy for any and every metal head out there.
