Have one of the originals with a darker rosewood board....violent tones,especially with boss pedals.Out of 10 owned ESPs,this is my only rose and she kicks butt still after about 15+years.

I like the inlays I replaced everything on it new nut to Eddie Van Halen low friction volume pots new input jack and switchcraft selector switch and it just so happened to come with stainless steel frets that I had grind and polished and it's got a 59 pearly gates in the neck and a Duncan JB in the neck and no replaced the Floyd Rose special with a original Floyd and this is my favorite guitar out of six to play very very low action now
Way better than expected
I received this guitar today. I purchased a Demo model. Honestly after reading alot about the 602 is better build quality better this better that blah blah I was slightly skeptical. I gotta tell you this thing showed up and I was kind of blown away by how good it looked, played and felt. Smooth frets great neck joint great looking hardware everything was on point. I have played the kh602 and really wasnt a fan of the painted/lacquered neck the maple neck even though bolt on on the kh202 is amazingly comfortable and plays fast as hell. I have no sustain complaints. I could have gone for emgs but really the esp desinged pickups do quite well through my katana 50. I had sweetwater do the setup but after in shipped to the firezone in oregon on the way to me something went out and the guitar really didnt want to tune well. I made a quick call to sweetwater customer service and explained what was going on. The guy on the phone didnt skip a beat and walked me through fixing the set up in no time flat. Sweetwater continues to impress me every transaction. Do not hesitate to buy this guitar it is simply put awesome I made the right choice and didnt break the bank. Thank you sweetwater and ESP/Ltd.

I love my new ESP LTD Kirk Hammett Signature KH-202 - Black with the Floyd Rose. It plays so easily and sounds amazing. Easily the best guitar I've ever owned and at an affordable price. Very happy customer. Can't wait to rock out with this bad boy this weekend on stage.

I've had 1 since they came out and my only Rose .. This baby is great and stays in if you set it right in using the rose....neck radius is perfect for regular human being? From new to star,this axe has been a fun time and all will enjoy its use and longevity of all components...If Sweetwater has any keft,its a miracle...score it .Mine in pic,l see it behind chair to left...

I now use ec1000 as,my main but the 202s,is,great for the bucks....all I used for 4 years now I have played it now have 11 with black cherry ec1000 my main axe.
