Its a footswitch and it works ok. However when powering up the CX 60 the footswitch may or may not indicate the status of the amp. For example. If the footswitch is engaged to enable channel B but the amp powered off with channel A selected, the footswitch doesn't reflect the amp setting. I did like that its got a jack on it so you can easily switch to a different length cord.

This isn't a very complicated product but it is solidly made and a game-changer for me. It is so much nicer being able to switch between channels and toggle effects without having to stop playing and press the buttons on the amp. I am new to guitar so I don't have a pedal board which I am sure could be used to accomplish a lot of what I get out of this footswitch but for the money and simplicity it is awesome. In my opinion this is a must-have accessory for anyone who owns a catalyst amp.

Must have accessory for a quality amp! Bought my Catalyst amplifier used and it had no foot pedal! Immediately looked the pedal up on Sweetwater and found the pedal very reasonably priced! So happy with my purchase from Sweetwater…just like always!

First off, I can't find the ACTUAL dimensions anywhere on the internet (all the dimensions I see are for the outer package) so for anyone interested this thing comes in at 5" x 3.5". Other than that, I second all the other reviews...a great way to expand the ability to control your Catalyst. I especially love how you can customize what each button does! Thanks to Rob Koch for getting this to me as soon as they came in!!!

very useful use your feet and keep your hands on your guitar!

simple pedal. it does what it's supposed to do. i felt it was good to have since i'm old school. it is a decent weight. not so lite that it would get kicked around easy. for me it makes me feel like it completes the amp
