I've had a dedicated room at home with an editing bay for video production since 2000, but I never considered treating the room. In 2010 I upgraded to Adam A7X reference monitors but still left the room untreated. A month ago I decided to start room treatment by adding two Auralex Bass Traps in the corners of my room under two upper book shelf units but on the actual editing bay desktop which spans wall-to-wall. I also added Auralex 2" 2' X 2' foam wedges behind each monitor as well as on the opposing walls where the monitors would hit and reflect. I honestly did not expect to hear any sort of a difference, and if I did I thought it would likely be negligible at best. Boy was I wrong! The difference was immediately noticeable. The bass and mids are tighter, more focused and richer. The following week I hung a 6' X 4' cloud with 2" of Owens Corning 703 insulation over the editing bay and my room sounds totally different. My only regret was not having done all this much, much sooner.

Excellent service from Sweetwater once again in the purchasing and delivery of these! I am very happy with the Aurolex LENRD Bass traps! Definitely helps me control the boomy bass sound waves in my studio with vaulted ceiling! I took advantage of the thin round hole down middle and suspended these on lengths of paracord suspended from upside down 7" shelf brackets! No messy glue!
