This is my first time purchasing an Audeze product. I have been disappointed on several levels with this headset and Audeze.

First disappointment, they were DOA. The left channel cut in and out the first time I connected them. I tested with 3 different sets of cables.

Second disappointment, after sending them in for RMA, I received no contact back. My RMA was also closed by Audeze. I never received my headset, a repair or replacement back.

Third disappointment, after 15 solid days of calling multiple times a day Audeze support cannot be reached directly and I have received no contact back after leaving a voicemail. I have finally submitted another support ticket through their support portal, referencing my RMA and failure to receive a return headset.

These support failures are not what a higher caliber audio company should be providing. As it stands, I'm out roughly $ on my purchase.

Things to note on my experience:

1. Sweetwater is an amazing company with amazing service and attempted to step in to help me get an RMA.

2. After 2 deaths in my immediate family, I was not able to follow up with Sweetwater's efforts to set up an RMA within 30 days. I did however follow up with Audeze directly and a support person confirmed that I could continue with the RMA and that the original request was still in place. Here again, Sweetwater, you are amazing and you humble me with impeccable service.

3. Audeze, regardless of their difficult support communication options, still deserves a chance to explain where things went sideways and follow through with RMA services. I will update this review or post another, referencing this review if and when Audeze contacts me to resolve my RMA and replace & return what I purchased and shipped to them for warranty service.
