Audeze LCD-2 Classic Open-back Headphones Reviews
This iteration of Audeze’s inaugural headphones model, the LCD-2 Classic, flaunts the clear, natural, spacious sound that earned the original LCD-2 such lauded acclaim, in a lighter, breezier non-Fazor model. The LCD-2 Classic’s planar magnetic drivers yield unparalleled transparency and clarity, along with outstanding transient response. What’s more, the LCD-2 Classic’s 70-ohm impedance and 101dB sensitivity give you world-class performance with the gamut of playback devices. As you’d expect, these headphones possess Audeze’s signature lightweight, ergonomic design, boasting a ventilated suspension headband and plush earpads that make pain-free work of long-haul listening. You also get a rugged mini-XLR cable, a professional travel case, and multiple adapter cables, guaranteeing hi-fi performance in virtually any listening arrangement.
Wide open sound and comfortable
I just got these, so they haven't broken in yet. I had been using a set of AKG Q701s for years and years.
The main thing I hear is that the LCD2 has a wide open and airy natural sound. They bass response is undermphasized, so my final mixes are not over compensating for bass and thus not boomy.
Very comfortable. I wore them for 6 hours straight and never got fatigued.
