WAVES L-2 UltraMaximizer
This was recommended to me and it works very well as a last step in mixing a project. It takes some time checking its various setting to figure out what works best for different sorts of music. It is, however, worth the effort.
Perfect for my workflow
If you need a transparent limiter then this would be the one to get. I love who you can push this limiter hard with no artifacts. Definitely one I keep on my drum buss at all times.

Same plug in I'v been using for 12 years
I use this 2 or 3 times per song when mastering Live recordings, and every studio Master.. Usually start with this, and soft compress a track to a level of -3.0 ... before using the C-4 and MaxxBass.. and then again to bring the level up the rest of the way (after a few other trick) to-0.5 (because if you put it at zero, when you convert it to mp3 it will soft clip)
This plug in is my #1 favorite necessity. Its the finisher.. The closer.... the top'er off'er... WORTH EVERY PENNY, if you like to buy these sort of things at full price.. I purchased the Diamond Bundle years ago and use about 5 of the plug ins.. Works the best with Sony Sound Forge (I still use and like 9)
