FireWire Interface with Built-in Real-time DSP Effects!

The Konnekt 24D is one full-featured unit with great sounding preamps, switchable mic/Hi-Z instrument inputs, and TC effects from the PowerCore line! A software control panel provides intuitive routing and effects options, and the Konnekt 24D can also run as a standalone mixer and effects processor. The included effects are Fabrik R with four TC reverbs and Fabrik C, an EQ and dynamics processor.

Flexible I/O
The Konnekt 24D has two high-quality mic inputs that can be switched to accept Hi-Z instruments such as guitars and bass, as well as 4 1/4" inputs on the back (two of which are coupled with the front inputs). The back panel of the Konnekt 24D also sports four 1/4" outputs, MIDI I/O, and S/PDIF/ADAT/optical. With this assortment of connectivity, the Konnekt 24D can hook up to virtually any sound source.

TC Effects from the PowerCore Line
One of the great things about the Konnekt 24D is the inclusion of Fabrik R and Fabrik C plug-ins from the impressive PowerCore Line. Fabrik R offers up four different reverb plugins for adding space and dimension to your recordings - and TC knows reverbs. The Fabrik C is a full-functioning EQ as well as a multi-band/full band compressor and a de-esser - essentially a channel strip that can be controlled from the software control panel. These plug-ins help you to give your recordings a professional sound.

Assimilator Konnekt Plug-in
Assimilator Konnekt is an extremely powerful equalization tool that "learns" the frequency curve of one piece of audio so it can be applied to another audio file. The native fingerprint equalizer originally developed for PowerCore has been customized for Konnekt 24D. Ideal for analyzing and copying EQ curves of individual instruments, voices or reference mixes, it truly shines when applied to align the frequency response of different tracks recorded at different times compiled to appear on the same album.

FireWire Connectivity
The Konnekt 24D has two FireWire ports on the rear panel allowing easy connection to a computer, or daisy-chaining of multiple units together for expanded I/O capabilities. The high-speed FireWire provides low-latency operation as well. With the plug-and-play convenience and the powerful plug-ins the Konnekt 24D is a great little box at an attractive price!
