perfect fit...pretty much a mandatory accessory for any synth or keyboard, especially if you have the pro...just no reason to cheap out, save and protect yer investment!! plus it's smoked or tinted a bit so it looks kinda groovy!! do it....do it...haha

OK. Fine. I'll be the guy that reviews these.

I now own three decksavers: this one, one for a Roland TR-8S, and one for a Push 2. Consider this a review for all three.

I live in an older building in an industrial/urban area which means even with my top of the line HEPA air purifier and being rigorous with cleaning... dust happens. The difference between my gear that is covered and uncovered is night and day. These things form a fairly tight seal around my stuff. All three are well thought out.

They are also excellent at damage protection. Dropping something at your desk or falling into gear while running a cable no longer means bent pots or broken equipment. I'll take a dinged up piece of polycarbonate over an electronics repair bench fee (just to get in the door!) any day.

I don't know how they do with spills and, quite honestly, don't want to know. I'm clumsy. Drinks aren't allowed at the audio desk. I will say that in the event of roof leaks/drips these will probably pay for themselves.

My only concern is I'm not sure how a lifetime of rubbing against my gear is going to affect the gear. I'm on the lookout for scratch or wear marks. Nothing yet but constantly taking polycarbonate cover on and off a midi controller is bound to create some cosmetic wear.

tl;dr: Let me put it this way... I know the guy that does my homeowner's policy is happy I bought these.
