Kramer Tracii Guns Gunstar Voyager Outfit - Black Metallic and Silver Ghost Flames Reviews

Solidbody Electric Guitar with Mahogany Body, Maple Neck, Maple Fingerboard, 2 Humbucking Pickups, and Floyd Rose - Black Metallic

The Kramer Tracii Guns Gunstar Voyager is a head-turning, glam-certified brute of an instrument. Built around a flashy star-shaped body, this solidbody electric guitar shows no mercy when it comes to attention-grabbing style and shred-ready performance. Even unplugged, this axe's mahogany body resonates with incredible warmth and sustain. And when you do plug into your favorite master-volume British-style stack, you'll be blown away by its heavy-hitting, PAF-like humbucker tones. You'll appreciate this Voyager's playability — its 3-piece, Slim "C"-shaped maple neck and lightning-fast maple fingerboard supply the perfect springboard for crunchy riffs and blazing leads. You also get a Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo for dive-bombing, shrieking, squealing, and fluttering. Plus, the Tracii Guns Gunstar Voyager is adorned with an eye-snatching black metallic finish, a pointed headstock, and a pyramid Kramer logo.

Kramer Gunstar

By Dustin Sears on March 27, 2024 Music Background: Tech

This guitar is great! Everything was great with arrival and unboxing. The Sweetwater inspection team made sure to get me a good one I can tell! Thank you Mike! (My sales person) for making it happen.
Once I sat down with it for a bit and everything settled in, the locking tremolo stays in tune well. I was surprised at the pickups are so rippin. Cool tap is a great feature too. Might upgrade the bridge and nut to German Floyd or Schaller at some point but what comes on it is fine. This guitar is a total screamer for sure and might inspire you to write some insane stuff!! Highly recommended. Thanks Sweetwater team!

Bargain deal for a great guitar

By George from Harpers Ferry, WV on March 15, 2023

I didn't have high expectations on this guitar but I opened it up , plugged it in, tuned it up, and was delighted. The maple neck with the Epiphone pickups make a great combo in my opinion. It gives me the versatility to obtain that classic 80's sound. I usually play it thought a 2525H mini jubilee paired with two twelve inch creambacks. The sound is amazing. I have to admit that this is one great guitar and for under a grand you can't beat the value.

80's God Maker

By Sweetwater Customer on April 10, 2022

I've had mine a year now and I still can't put it down. I did a few changes to help her along yet it's still stock parts! I turned the pups upside down so the outside coils would play when you coil tapped. Next, I had it wired so the first knob was the volume for the bridge pup not the rhythm. I also moved the top strap knob where Tracy Guns said to put it to compensate it's neck dive. Now I have a fabulous guitar that I can't put down. Just a few changes to existing components and walaa! This is my third Kramer and every one of them have been fabulous guitars! If you're looking for a 80's Super Strat with some style, don't pass this up! Just make sure to do the fret level!!!! I can't stress this enough. It turns a nice guitar into a phenomenal guitar.

Cool, beautiful, and feels great... however...

Well, I've had these ProBuckers in some Les Pauls before and I thought they sounded great. However in this guitar - they just sound thin to me (maybe because there is not as much wood??). I'll be swapping the bridge p/u for sure. Other than that - the guitar is awesome. It was set up perfectly and it's fun to play. The neck and frets feel great... and of course the guitar looks cool as all get out.

The only draw back are the pickups

I like the guitar a lot except for the thin sounding pickups it comes with, think I may keep it and put a SD Full Shred and it should do teh job, plays great though...
