I bought this dual stand for the super solid uprights design, but I was pleasantly surprised with how this stand sets up and closes, no screwing around with a push button, it just opens up to the lowest level and then you can adjust by clicking back up the "ratchets". A bit on the heavy side, but worth it for the other pros.

I've gone through just about every 2-tier keyboard stand known to man, always looking for a better solution. Had high hopes for this one, but unfortunately it doesn't deliver.

The first I ordered had a loose right-hand side upper tier, but Sweetwater is good about things like this and sent me a replacement.
That one arrived just before I went on vacation, I checked to see if the upper tiers were firm and they seemed fine.
Then it sat unused for about two months. Today I finally set it up and (you guessed it) the righ-hand side upper-tier is loose.

What's more, further indication of poor workmanship is the alignment of the upper-tiers; a keyboard resting on it will sit crooked.

And finally, the EZ-lock system doesn't work well. I can see how it would be amazing if it was flawless, but no matter what I try, it always locks into the second or third hole, at which point you can only pull it back up; no way to get it further down to fourth or fifth hole.

Once it is in place with a keyboard on the bottom tier, don't try to extend the right-hand side top-tier arm as it will disengage the EZ-lock and cause the stand to drop with the keyboard on it.

So the way to get it down to the lowest or second-lowest position is to click it down to third, then pull out the locking spring of the righ-hand side upper tier arm and lower the whole thing. Caveat: the upper-tier arms now will not go lower than the second-most upper position. Inexplicable.

Too late to return it now, I think. Too bad. Not recommended.

Very happy with this two keyboard stand. Sturdy holding both keyboards well. Higher Keyboard is fully now be adjustable up or down from lower keyboard which is the main reason for purchasing this stand. Keyboard also folds flat which is another bonus with this stand. Stability with both keyboards on board is also perfect. Having both keyboards closer together is another key feature of why I purchased this stand.

I really like this design. It's reasonably sturdy and folds flat for compact storage and transport. What Hercules needs to do is offer a Double X version to make it even more sturdy. There's a little sway when loaded with two heavier keyboards. Not bad, but I'd pay more and deal with the extra weight just to have a stronger version. Keep the rear vertical support, just double up the X.

Built well. Time will tell. Great price.

This stand is a tank and super sturdy. Unique design allows for quick set-up and break-down and single piece for transport. easily holds 2 heavy keyboards, pictured here with my Kawai MP7 and Novation IMPULSE 61. Second (top) tier does not allow for adjustment of angle, but great value!

Just revisited this item after having owned one for the last several years. This is theee best stand I've ever had. Set up and teardown are virtually non existent.(one fluid motion.) Folds flat and is sturdy as a brick. It's very well designed. Top tier has a slight down slant. (Good compromise between those who like a flat or slant top board. Adjustable height on both tiers. If I was to nitpick I'd say it's kind of heavy and it's also kinda loud when set it/tear it down. Ridiculously good stand for the money.
