Kramer Nightswan Electric Guitar - Aztec Marble Graphic Reviews
Originally a signature guitar in the 1980s, the Kramer Nightswan is a true shredder’s delight. And who’s signature model was it? Let’s just say that this sweet-savage axe wielder was a real holy diver. This made-for-performance double-cutaway boasts an Aztec Marble graphic — one of the Nightswan’s most historically rare finishes. That said, this guitar wasn’t built for show — unless it’s to show off your chops. Its "C"-profile-shaped, 3-piece maple neck is unlike any other you’ll ever pick up, while its ruler-flat 16-inch-radius ebony fingerboard ensures lightning-fast playability. Plug into any high-gain monstrosity, and you’ll be greeted by classic hot-rodded humbucker tones, courtesy of two Seymour Duncan JB pickups. No guitar would be shred-worthy without a double-locking tremolo, and the Nightswan includes the gold standard: a Floyd Rose. The Nightswan also features rock-solid deluxe tuners, stylish fingerboard inlays, and an era-defining reverse banana-style headstock.

2nd one is a charm
The first Aztec I received the neck was installed improperly and was beyond repair. The low E string was along the edge of the fret which slid off the fretboard. The high E was swimming in tons of fretboard space. The neck also had several dings in the back of it. As always Sweetwater is awesome on their customer service. I was immediately sent a return label. The other Aztecs in stock were suffering from the same issues.
I had to wait about 2 weeks and I was told a replacement was available. This was about 3 weeks earlier than they original told me. The 2nd guitar was sent to the repair shop to insure that it was in proper order. I received it today and it was correct. The factory setup isn't bad but I need to set it up for what I like.
Thanks to Ben and the repair shop.
Aztec
Overall a good legendary 80s shredder at a great price . Kramer has done an ok job on these guitars . You will need a set up and you may find minor flaws . The guitar will need a new pot but other then that your good to go . It's not a reissue but it is close to the original. It has an R2 nut instead of R1 and the pups are different . A great shredder at a great price .
