Neumann KMS 104 Cardioid Condenser Handheld Vocal Microphone
Neumann KMS 104 Cardioid Condenser Handheld Vocal Microphone Reviews
Neumann is world renowned for their legacy of fantastic studio microphones, but with the elegant KMS-104 they are making their uncompromising standards available in an affordable high quality hand held microphone. The KMS 104 features all the same capabilities that have made the KMS 105 so successful for Neumann, however, offers the choice of a cardioid polar pattern.

Great workhorse for the serious vocalist
Exceptional Mic
This is an exceptional mic and just what you might expect from Neumann. Crystal clear and accurate, great feedeback rejection. Good or bad, it captures everything in your voice. I had been using Sennheiser 935 and the venerable SM 58 and Beta 58. None of those are even close. Spendy but worth it
Like Putting on Seven League Boots
I absolutely LOVE this mic. It is very present. It picks up every nuance of your voice and emotion and it perfectly suits my mic style - which is super close up on it. I upgraded from an SM58 to an AKG 535, which was pretty good. Say, the power of ten better. But to upgrade to this from the AKG was incredible. Seven league boots possibly doesn't even do it justice.
Unmatched
This microphone is totally top-notch. I was working sound for a jazz variety show, and we had a number of microphones on the stage. I noticed this one and approached it, curious because of the clarity I was hearing on our saxophones. I turned it over and noticed it was a Neumann. I was excited, to say the least, to be working with a $700 microphone. We used it on a vocalist in one of the ensembles, and his voice just shined. The clarity and smooth quality of the vocals were exactly what you´d expect out of one of the most famous, most expensive stage microphones on the market. Working with one of these today was truly a highlight of my life.
Umm....Awesome
Had a vocalist bring one of these with her for a gig. It's an amazing mic. Kinda steep price point for a handheld vocal, but worth it if you want the quality.
nothing comes close
I wish this mic had come out ten years ago - maybe I'd be a better singer today - you can hear when you go a little flat or sharp where as other live mics don't catch every harmonic like this one - - i really love it
