Schecter USA Keith Merrow KM-6 MK-III Pro - Bloodlust Crystal Burl Reviews
Keith Merrow's USA-made signature Schecter KM-6 MK-III Pro is the technical player's dream come true. If this guitar's exotic looks don't woo you, its far-reaching tones and flawless playability will. For progressive metal and neoclassical to contemporary jazz and straight-ahead rock, the KM-6 MK-III Pro's nine distinct voicings are engineered to deliver clarity, bite, and balance at all gain settings. Topping its lightweight, resonant swamp ash body is an incredibly figured flame maple top that's equipped with a pair of direct-mounted Keith Merrow Custom Fishman Fluence active humbuckers and a Hipshot Low Profile fixed bridge, all in matching black. Joining the body is a plays-anything Thin Fast "C"-profile 3-piece wenge neck with sumptuous purpleheart and maple laminates, reinforced by both a 2-way truss rod and carbon fiber reinforcing rods to ensure that once this guitar's set up, it stays set up. A compound radius (12–16-inch) ebony fingerboard with offset silver ring inlays, glow-in-the-dark side dots, and stainless steel frets suit this modern player to any environment and any style of music. Matching black Hipshot open-gear tuners complete the package.

Perfection
If you want a modern guitar with a strat’s scale and the versatility of fishman pickups, this is your guitar. Not only is it visually stunning, it’s extremely versatile due to the pickups. When you put it in single coil mode its a pretty convincing Fender like tone. I knew this thing would spit fire but it’s the clean tones that are really surprising. Yes this is an expensive guitar and you can get many of the same specs in the import model but what you’re getting is perfection and more attention to detail.
