Well-made and uncomplicated
We're a rehearsal studio in LA and man...some of these "affordable" mic stands have about 10 moving parts.. Which means 10 things can go wrong (and they usually do). Nick from Sweetwater pointed me towards this stand when I asked him for a good stand under $. The stand is sturdy, smooth, and simple. It does exactly what you need it to without overcomplicating the design. This stand still gives our clients enough versatility without all the unnecessary "features". Recommend it to anyone looking for something similar.
