I'm sure this will work fine if you are mounting to 4x4 studs or cinder block but for a normal wall with 2x4 studs you're out of luck. The mount plate and screw holes are spaced too far apart. The instructions for attaching to the wall are ludicrous "attach using your favorite method", K&M doesn't even provide screws for it. I can't even suggest improvements, they just need another design.
