K&M 21075 Microphone Stand with Telescoping Boom Arm - Black Reviews
The K&M 21075 microphone stand is a top choice for studios on a budget. As a consequence of its resilient zinc die-cast base with foldable legs, this all-metal stand is exceptionally sturdy. At Sweetwater, we don't sweat putting our high-end mics on the 21075 - it's stable enough for them. A simple clutch makes for trouble-free height adjustment. The K&M 21075 microphone stand's telescoping boom arm features a square swivel joint and large wing nut for easy boom adjustment and clamping.

K&M Mic Stand
Recommend by Matt at Sweetwater!! Glad he did was going to get a less expensive stand.
These are solid stands the base for the legs is heavy and keeps them upright. Not like most one hit they go down!!
Bought the two pack saved a few bucks well worth it!
Thanks Matt!!!!
Sturdy - well made
Very pleased with this boom stand. Replaced another that was cheaply made (not purchased from Sweetwater) and started falling apart. This one has a good weight, tightens well, adjustable in all the right places. Worth the purchase price. Have used it several times and 100% satisfied with this purchase. As always, Sweetwater techs follow up with a phone call to make sure you're happy with your purchase. Great customer service.
It's perfect!
Just what I wanted to lighten my load to gigs and
fit my IPad holder too. It's light and easy to use!
Didn't know a stand could impress me so much
In a word, this stand is phenomenal. It didn't do my taxes or make my singing any better, but I didn't know how much I was missing using a cheap stand with plastic hardware. I use a Heil PR35 mic for vocals and putting a $+ microphone into a sub $ stand didn't seem like a big deal. I had a few close calls and the hardware finally gave up on the cheap stand so I bought a this one. I'm so very happy with this stand, it locks down TIGHT with very little effort and the hardware all feels sturdy. It's slightly heavy, but that's the weighted base and it keeps the stand from wanting to tip over, even with my rather heavy PR35 all the way extended out. I can extend this stand all the way and even with the boom extended through the worst point (between two legs) I can pull down on it and it refuses to tip (with reasonable force). Absolutely delighted with it, 10/10. Don't cheap out on support items, protect your microphones with good stands like this one
Great stand
Really happy with purchase. Worth the extra money vs going less expensive. On top of that the Sweetewater experience was tops..pleasant surprise. From order placement through receipt of order and beyond.
What Have I Been Doing?
I've bought lesser stands to save a buck over the years, but it's definitely cost in the long run. The quality of these stands is solid and cannot be matched…I have only used this since I got it a couple of weeks ago, and I can already tell that it will last me way longer than any other stands I've purchased in the past
Great Stands
Wow what a move-up over my On Stage ones. Thanks for the advice, Benjamin Nielsen: You rock!
Good stands
Nice stands for the price. Using them in my home studio. Adjust easily and secure when tightened. Fast shipping too.
Stands working great
I ordered these stands for my band and as always when I order from Sweetwater my order is always perfect. They work very well for our performing and I would not hesitate to order them again.
A gig in the breeze
Had to use this stand right after it arrived at an outdoor solo gig by the ocean with an onshore wind, and it's very stable and secure. The hardware is rugged and precise, a huge improvement over my basic on stage boom stand
None better!
Seriously, I don't know if a better stand. These are great. In the past, I purchased six packs of On-Stage Stands like these. Those just don't last, plus they tend to wobble on stage, so not very sturdy. In less than a year, the nuts strip out. The K&M products are far better and well worth the extra expense.
Very high quality
Great stand. Very high quality, very well built.
Solid Mic Stands
Bought 2 of these guys for our rehearsal space, since some of the old (different brand) ones were not working well.
These are not the "top of the line" K&M stands, but right out of the box you could tell the quality & solidity of the stands.
They grip nice & tight (easily) and hold the mics up with no sliding. The telescoping arms are also nice & tight.
No probs with these stands whatsoever.
It stands alone!
Randy at Sweetwater recommended this stand for the money I was spending, and I love it! I agree with Randy, great boom mike stand!
Quality
This stand is high quality typical of K&M products. Works great for what I need. Should last many years!
Well engineered
I bought two of these to use primarily in a house of worship setting. I chose this model over the similar but heavier duty KM21090 because I felt my use case does not warrant the extra durability of the KM21090. When the stands arrived, I was at first taken aback by the light weight of the plastic knobs. But with gentle tightening, they hold the stand in position extremely well. Every other stand I have ever used required cranking down hard to hold the stand height, boom angle, and boom extension. Not these. A modest amount of torque on the knobs and they are rock solid. What is the difference? Clearly it is in the design engineering.
I have used these stands for two recording sessions now and they are the best stands that I have used, even compared to other premium brands like Atlas and DR.
I strongly recommend the KM21075.
Very Solid Stand
I've owned a lot of stands over the years of various brands. Some good, some not so good. These are solid stands. I have 2 and wouldn't hesitate to buy more. They are a good stand and a good value.
Great stand for the price!
I like K&M stands, will never buy a cheap mic stand again. This one is just a great bargain and still a very solid stand.
K&M boom mic stand.
Good, solid stand. Does the job.
sturdy stand
I got tired of having to replace a cheaper stand, the plastic parts wear out so I got this all metal stand, seems pretty good construction and it's functional. Will see how long it lasts.
First Impression... Hmmm?
I work a heavy schedule and I'm one week in using this recently purchased boomstand. Sweetwater delivered ahead of schedule! K&M are notably very reputable...one of the few with a solid construction and that actually offer replacement parts. But...
The knobs to tighten the boom and the base seem relatively flimsy with a softer plastic that I can bend. I'm a bit dubiously surprised and am hoping it will last.
Will report if it fails.
