Excellent stand
These are great stands, solid, and won't harm my nitrous finish. Very happy with these.
Excellent stand
Excellent stand especially for nitrous finish. What more can be said.
Sturdy & Just Right for My Needs!
This K&M guitar stand is awesome! I really like it! It is sturdy and well made. Plus, it keeps my guitar safe and in a nice upright position. I am very happy with this product!
Solid stand - works for standard electrics and a strandberg-style
Got this especially for road travel - folds down to be flat enough to fit in odd spaces in the car. Its configurable spacing when it opens lets you put different sizes of guitars - but especially nice is that it'll support a strandberg electric (like a boden) with the offset lower-body cut. Rugged. Durable. Used it for several years now with no problems.
Great stand, looks great. Really happy
I got one of these for my Gretsch and was so happy with it I purchased another for my Telecaster. They work and look really great. Highly recommend for non-offset guitars.
Nice but flawed design
Well built and simple. Would be 5 stars if designers would have set a few popular guitars in it before going into production. One lower hook sits right where the output jack is on strats so I use mine not fully opened. Wonky and a little less stable but works. I like to keep a guitar plugged in so I can just grab it and play when I have a few minutes.
K&M 17540 Stand
Nicely made and I'm sure is fine for most guitars, however I have a Fender Jazz base which has a curved bottom. It did not stand straight up on this stand, and therefore the back of the neck did not rest properly against the upper rest block. This type of bass would have fallen sideways and off the stand with the slightest movement or interference. It is simply not made for a Fender Jazz Bass….buy something else.
I Have Six of 'Em
I like the quality of these stands. I have six of these for solid-body electrics, and a different version of the same thing for an acoustic-electric. They really protect the guitars. I especially like that the back of the guitar rests on a cork surface. These are adjustable, sturdy, stable, and nicely made. I started with just one, but gradually I bought more of these stands for other guitars. I have not tried them with an offset guitar, but as you can see from the photos, they work just fine with a Flying V.
Perfect stand
This stand is perfect. From moving it around to keeping it stationary. It's easy on the guitars too. Just bought a second and thinking a third!
Almost Pefect
Great stand - solid and well made. The only issue is that when fully opened one of the bottom "hooks" is directly in line with the cord on my Strat when plugged in (which it mostly is). I adjusted the stand to a less than fully opened position and its fine but looks wonky. Some stability is lost with the legs not fully opened. I saw someone else had a similar issue with their Les Paul. I'd think they'd engineer it to fit a couple of the most widely sold guitar styles better than this.
Perfect stand for my Les Paul
Responsive, fast, 10/10 would definitely do business with them again.
Nice Stand
Title says it all. I am very pleased with my purchase.
If Porsche made guitar stands
they would be K&M. Perfect for acoustic and electric. Pay a bit more and well worth it.
Very stable
If you are tired of flimsy unstable guitar stands, then this one is the one to go with. Works great on carpet and on flat surfaces. Works great with my Strat and my Jazz bass. I trust it to hold my American made instruments, and that says it all.
A Must Have
Top notch product and a must have for any guitar player. Product is well built, portable, and the features to protect the finish on your guitar.
K&M are the Best!
These are the best guitar stands out there. Solidly built,German engineering, once I found them, I stopped searching for stands. Always Konig and Meyer. Their portable stands are great as well. Five stars
Best stand ever!
This stand is very high quality, built really well and holds the guitar much more stable than the headstock grabber ones. Don't think twice - buy it!
Solid as a rock - slightly off for a Les Paul
This is a great stand. Rock solid. Much sturdier than some of the cheaper stands out there - and the ones I have owned before. But note: I have a Les Paul, and for my particular model at least: If you place the guitar in the stand with the cord attached, with the guitar centered on the stand, the cord comes out on top of the right cradle. So I have to tilt the guitar counter-clockwise a bit. (The cradle arms do not appear to be adjustable.)
This still works for me, I'd buy it again, but just FYI.
Fantastic Stand
I needed to get a new stand that wouldn't harm the nitro finish on my guitar. I read a bunch of reviews online, and K&M seemed to be the one stand that was mentioned the most and got the best reviews, so I bought one. The contact points are covered with cork, so it won't harm the nitro finish, and the stand is very stable. I love it and would buy it again.
Stand and Deliver
These are truly awesome stands. I've bought three of them. Two for electric, and one for acoustic. They are adjustable for width with just your fingers. The cork back protects the finish of your guitar. These are high quality.
Guitar Stand
Very sturdy and stable stand with padding in contact areas that does not effect the finish of your guitar in any way. Very satisfied with the quality.
Sturdiest stand ever.
It does the job. It is very sturdy and the cork padding does not seem to mar the nitro finish on my Telecaster. The only thing is that the cork "holders" are too narrow to accept anything other than a solid body guitar. Maybe just enough for a 335, but acoustics? no way.
Wonderful!
The ideal guitar stand to both keep your instrument hand while protecting its finish.
Very stable unit, great looking, small foot print.
I'll be getting another one.
THE Guitar Stand
An excellent, stable, damage free guitar stand. Your guitar is safe and sound while looking its best because you"re not focused on the stand, but your instrument. A bit pricey but a stand designed to last you a lifetime.
Excellent stand
Best guitar stand I have ever owned. Stable and sturdy, never damages guitar. Will definitely buy more.
Shorty stand
I"ve had a few short guitar stands, and these are the best! Others I"ve had actually damaged the finish on the backs of my guitars, and were light weight and flimsy. These are heavy duty and so far, hasn"t caused any damage. Love it so much I bought 3.
Excellent
Very very solid stand and beautiful in the cork finis. I have the memphis stand and KM is one of the only brands I trust with my high end finishes.. 100% Made in Germany.. A little pricier, but couldn't be happier with these.
Big Daddy
Bought a double neck and I'm wanting to gig with it, so needed a stand. Jeff recommended this one. The man knows his business. Absolutley rock solid. Buying another one soon because the are so good.
K&M stand
A great guitar stand safe with nitrocellulose finishes. Low profile and very sturdy.
A WELL ENGINEERED STAND
This stand is hefty and rock solid. Push the button, swing it open, and it clicks into position smoothly with no mechanical play whatsoever. The cushy, rubber-like compound covering the arms and head grips my instruments securely and gently with no chance of slipping in any direction. That it comes in cork color as well as the usual black is a bonus. Certainly not the cheapest A-frame stand you can buy, but probably the best of the species. Worth the extra bucks.
