MUST BUDGET FOR SUB
I ordered these and focal solo st6's with an intent for each set in my monitoring setup. The kh310's because of the midrange, I regularly mix off of kh420's at a commercial studio and they are phenomenal so I wanted that midrange in m home setup, with the beryllium tweeter of the focals for extra detail up top. I ended up using my focals the majority of the time as the kh310's sounded like they had a head cold until I was able to get the kh750dsp sub. It is a night a day difference, and they sound absolutely phenomenal. You have to get the sub to get the best out of these speakers, the stress being off the lower driver opens up the speakers so much and they go significantly louder before. Once I added the sub I had that aha moment, they finally sounded how I pictured in my head, probably the best three way in this price range.
