Best headphones I've ever purcahsed
Light, comfortable and sound great. I love the balance of lows and highs these headphones produce. Best headphones I have ever purchased.
Fantastic headphones
They provide a very nice balance to be used not just professionally but to be used for general listings. I have used them for both work and personal. Can't go wrong with these.
Great Headphones
I bought these to have good and accurate audio reproduction with wireless features. AKG delivered on this in a fantastic way. The have a very soft feel on the head and ears and it's very easy to wear them for a long time. I would highly recommend these to anyone who need the freedom of wireless and quality audio reproduction.
Excellent Headphones! Very comfortable and well worth the money.
I wanted to get a pair of wireless closed back headphones to use while watching tv or playing music, these are great! Very good quality, seem durable, and sound very very good. Thanks to my sales rep Chris Jenkins again.
Slightly bass-heavy but very comfy
The quality on these cans is definitely there but there are a few things to note. My previous pair were Sennheiser HD 380 Pro's, which are very flat but have a noticeable bump in the 4-10k range which made them pretty clear. These are much more dead in the higher frequency range, maybe due to the very prominent low end. If you plan to mix or do audio work with these, you will know when the low end is loud enough for sure, but finding the sweet spot above 4k will require a different set or some good monitors.
In any case, they sound good, just know what you're paying for. The earpieces are pretty narrow, and grip your head pretty firmly, but the foam is comfortable and they can be worn for a long time without discomfort.
The sound stage is wide enough, but the narrowness of the earpieces might be holding it back. If you prefer something with a wider earpiece then look elsewhere.
these are pretty awesome!
AKG K361-BT: Nearly Everything I Wanted!
For context, I purchased these in a pinch after my 7 year old daily driver Bose QC15's blew a driver. While I don't have much experience to speak of in the world of headphones or audiophile equipment, if it sounds good, it sounds good, and these sure do. Personal preference an all.
The AKG K361-BT certainly sound more lively than my old Bose, paired with better technical performance (detail retrieval and imaging) to boot. Technology advances at an odd pace for audio gear, and these cans show it. Were normally I would grab for my Airpods or Bose Soundwear for Bluetooth listening, now I have a new option. I cannot tell you how many times I've yanked out the cable of my Bose headphones while wearing them about. Point for AKG. The touch controls seam to work as intended with my pair, but from what I've read, YMMV. Quality control was an initial concern before purchasing these headphones, they pair I received have no defects. They're certainly not Beyerdynamic tank, but they don't feel flimsy by any means, and you cant win them all.
The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because of comfort, namely the stock ear pads. I never considered my ears as being big, but they still make contact with the driver leading to minor discomfort, so beware. Additionally, my ears do get quite warm after an hour of continuous use, but these headphones are a bit seal dependent. As to say, if they pads don't make a good seal to your head, they sound a bit off. Maybe Bose comfort has had me spoiled over the years, but I'm not one to settle.
All that said, they still earn a 4.5/5 stars because they give the sense that they've much more to give. I have put in an order for some 3rd party ear pads, and if they resolve the comfort issue, then mission Accomplished.
Are there better sounding (tuning, detail, soundstage) headphones at this price point? I'm sure there are, but without spending a grand on cans, tradeoffs must be made. Do these K361-BT offer every flavor of Bluetooth connectivity? No, but who cares at this price, and for most there wont be an audible lose in quality! Is comfort a deal breaker? Certainly for most, but that's why pad rolling and swapping is a norm for those big into headphones. Plus, since there's quite a few 3rd party options for these headphones, (Dekoni & Brainwvz) so both audio quality and comfort are not set in stone.

Comfort and clarity
These phones are lightweight and very comfortable and a good bang for the buck. A little heavy on the bass end - and this is coming from a former bass player. But overall I am very pleased.

nice headphones and the expierence with Patrick was outstanding
Fine for Consumer Use
Good for consumer use but not a pro monitoring option. Low end is accentuated and there is not much detail above 4khz. If you mix monitor with these and you will likely add way to much high end to your program to compensate.
Only last about a year
So far I've been through four pairs the right side always stops working. They always only last a little over a year then the sound on the right stops. This has happened to four different pairs already. Sweetwater had already sent two replacement pairs would recommend extra insurance if you can because they will break.
