AKG K182 headphones
This is the second pair of AKG K182 headphones I've purchased in order to match the response of my MIX exactly for another listener! By using the exact same pair of phones I know that two of us are hearing the same MIX! These headphones are very comfortable and I like how they fold-up flat for easy storage. This matching sound response has opened up an exciting new little world for adjusting the MIX for anyone listening with me! Mike D.
WOW! These headphones fit my head/ears just perfect!
And They Sound GREAT, Too!!!
the best i've ever had in 15 years
These are great... there a drastic step up from my old JVCs I
have had the
The harx900 and 700 although I never run them off of a DAC and now I'm quite curious to try
but i would have to get a new pair as my current ones have seen far better days over the past
15 years I liked them quite a bit but decided it was time to upgrade I've recently been running
while they were out of commission a set of Stellar labs HO-5960 from Newark audio they have
a 95 decibel max sensitivity at 32 ohms (don;t know the mws) I've been running off of fiio
10k DAC and was surprised at the absolute difference and how the sound now I'm that I am
moving on to the AKG k182 I do wonder how my jvc's would have sounded when they were
working had I run them off a dac ,though i do plan to grab a new set for my dad with a
matching dac/amp ..but enough about them an more about the akg k182 I would highly advise
these to anybody looking for a really good crisp pair of headphones with a nice sensitivity range
And don't require a ton of juice to drive either a max of 500mw at 32omhs
the first thing i noticed was the treble an how sharp an clear i have'nt needed to run my pcs eq at all
bass is really good far better then iv had
sounds as good to me as my 15in sub minus the room shackin
most notable bassnectar finaly has clean bass thump instead of a wet drup thump
meaning i now love my bassnectar an massive attack again
my only dislike is the earpads are not as big and firm as i would like
this rest on my earlobes an don't incompess them the way my jvcs did
but then again im picky
Awesome pair of headphones!!!

Great deal great product
Bravo
These headphones do the job & do it well. I'm quite pleased. That said, as an old school kind of guy, if I were in charge of the universe (or at least the AKG part of the universe), I'd outfit these with a heftier cable & a 1/4 phone plug.
Nice while they last
i have had 2 pairs now - the L side always blows eventually - i'm not using it improperly. Other than that, I enjoyed the sound and comfort of these, but it's a frustrating problem so I'm moving on.
