The best ride cymbal that has ever been made

I've played Zildjian A's and A Customs for years and I love them, a few K's and Z's here and there for diversity but I had no idea how much I was limiting not only my sound pallet but my playing style until I jumped in with two feet on a set of K Custom Darks; 14" hats, 20" crash and this absolutely stunning 22" ride, which has a dark wash that just moves air without overtaking the mix. I find myself experimenting new techniques while going down completely different pathways,
stepping away from previous safe places since adding this set up to my kit. I couldn't be happier!
I also absolutely love the team at Sweetwater; Adam Trudel has consistently been the best of the best on a number of big investments this year and he always leaves me feeling solid about my choices and he always follows up with me personally afterward. Keep up the great work!

I'm not the greatest drummer. Just starting out actually. I had purchased a few cymbals from a couple pawn shops in my area and have been very please with what I have gotten so far (All Zildjian). But I had been struggling to find a ride I was happy with. After watching a few videos on Youtube I came across this cymbal and it sounded great. So I took a leap of faith and went for it and I'm glad I did. Wonderful sound over all. The shipping was on time as always with Sweetwater and had great protection around the cymbal. Sound is subjective, but if you like what you hear then do what I did and go for it!

Ok well its a K cymbal do i even half to say anymore? If you said yes a justification for that huge price tag is the ride is just the right mix of low pitch to where it can be applied to many genres of music. It has amazing stick definition and a beatiful bell. A cymbal like this really dosent need anymore explaining.

Although I already had a 20" crash of the same series (which was also great) I was blown away by this cymbal. It's perfect for bell articulation, quiet riding sound, and as a crash. Versatile cymbal and happy to have it in the arsenal.
Medium weight cymbal but was quite light I thought. You don't have to work hard to get this cymbal to shine/cut through. I could see this used in indie, jazz, heavy rock, ambient/alternative music.
