Disappointed
I bought this to replace my juno ds with an expectation that, it will be a better version. Where did all the Tones on Juno Ds vanished to? Even Juno Di have much more useful tones than this one. There are some improved Tones and features but, this would have been a better version of these tones were introduced as additions to what Juno has been known for.
Really nice keyboard synth
I needed a nice sounding keyboard with a sequencer and the Roland Juno D6 fit the bill.
Not what I’d expected
Short and sweet.
Good Keyboard for beginners and giging musicians, but not GREAT for intricate sound designing…..that is all….
This is my time to own a Synthesizer
Love it at the first sound! and perfect for the Beginner-Professional experienced level. It has a tons of Synths and Variety of Instruments, and it includes the legendary Juno-106 brass, which is my favorite. I recommend this to a friend, since my friend recommended it to me for use with DAW programs and practice.
Digital Artifacts
Unfortunately the Roland D6 produces digital artifacts which can be very noticeable depending upon what sounds you have selected. I purchased this D6 to replace an old 1990s era Yamaha keyboard that also produced digital artifacts, and was hoping that the manufacturers would have been able to engineer this problem out of their keyboards by the year 2025; however that is not the case.
Great Keyboard BUT!!!
Great keyboard with lots of features. The only issue I have is the user manual is not very informative. While it does give you the basics, it does not explain features like saving tone changes in banks. Had to go to YouTube to find out how to use that feature and it still is not totally correct. This is my second Roland Keyboard the last one I bought was in 2003. It was a workhorse, and I am hoping that this one will be the same.
