Composition Tools
The JUNO-D is loaded with convenient, performance-oriented features including a powerful phrase/arpeggio generator and Multi Chord memory function, which lets you play a chord by touching a single key. Performance Power
Performers will appreciate the feel of the JUNO-D's newly improved 61-note, velocity-sensitive keyboard, which is a step up from previous synths in this price range. Bend, twist, and manipulate your sounds in real time with the D Beam controller, pitch/modulation lever, and five front-panel control knobs. What Do Our In-house Gear Experts Think?
As a songwriter/arranger, with a string and horn background, I have always been missing key and synth sounds. I have dabbled with piano and keyboards before, but my level of playing was just not good enough to print to mix. Now, with the JUNO-D, I can program in whole chord to activate with just one keystroke! This lets me spend my precious hours in the studio making music, and not learning another instrument. The JUNO-D is a fantastic addition to anyone's studio whether they're doing jingle work, commercial projects, or soundtracks. It doesn't matter what your level of playing ability is. This mixed with over 600 sounds laid out in an easy-to-use format makes the JUNO-D a useful tool. It's well worth the money, and in no time at all it will make back its investment with saved time, saved energy, and added sound options in your projects. The thing that excited me most about the JUNO-D was actually the 808 and 909 sounds. These have been out of production for so long I forgot how much I loved the 909 kick. Now I can have it any time I want! From monophonic sounds to whole arrangements, the JUNO-D wont let you down.

The Juno-D ROCKS, plain and simple. When I brought it home, I connected a pair of headphones and started playing. Next thing I knew hours had gone by and I was feeling extremely inspired by how easy this board was to use. The onboard filter and envelope controls made customizing the awesome internal sounds quite easy, definitely good for making the sounds unique to my tastes and my music. The included editor software really allowed me to dig deep into what this synth is truly capable of. The knobs on the keyboard are just the "icing on the cake." For less than $600 this board sounds like it costs much more than that. The pads are rich and lush, the basses are deep and punchy, and the drum kits are very versatile. I absolutely love the piano patch as well. Being a keyboard player I'm always particular about my piano sound. I was very impressed by what the Juno-D had in that realm. The Juno-D is definitely on my wish list, and it would make a great item for yours too!

Simply put, modern electronic music wouldn't exist without Roland. Many of the electronic musicians here at Sweetwater cut our teeth on TR Rhythm machines and fondly remember programming our first TB-303s. We owe a good part of our careers to this amazing and innovative company. It's been fun to watch and grow right alongside Roland, as they've introduced wave after wave of revolutionary keyboards, digital pianos, and more. For example, Roland's V-Drum Kits continuously redefine the possibilities of electronic drums, beginning with SuperNATURAL technology to the latest Prismatic Sound Modeling. We're huge fans, and we'd love to tell you all about them. Whether you want a pocket-sized synth or a cutting-edge video mixer, if Roland makes it, then Sweetwater is 100% behind it.
