It's my main axe.

By Scott from Wisconsin on March 21, 2024 Music Background: Dyed-in-the-wool blues/rock musician. Vocals, bass, guitar, keyboards, horns.

This bass has had some unkind things said about it, and to be honest, it took me several frustrating weeks to set it up properly.
But, that accomplished, it instantly became my favorite bass ever. It absolutely has its own sound, no matter what I plug it into - one you'll either love or hate. I'm in a blues/rock power trio (like Cream) where the bass has to make a clear statement in filling in melodic and rhythm parts as well as holding down the bottom, both in lock step with the drummer. The Mike Kerr Fender is right out front doing that with rip-your-face-off mids, and it's oh so fast! 1.5" at the nut, a thin neck profile, and 30" scale = Jack Bruce at 78 speed! I've known my guitar player almost 50 years and this is the only bass he's ever commented on: "it's perfect!" Our drummer agrees. This instrument and its sound are NOT for every band or everybody, but if you like what I've described here, you'll love it, you lead bassist you!
It's also orange. Very orange. There's not another choice. It's the only orange thing I own that's not an orange. I love the bass, so I just deal with it.

Amazing Bass

By Tom on November 10, 2023 Music Background: Touring musician

An awesome bass guitar, neck is smooth, short scale, plays easy, and the pickup range is diverse, with the bridge pickup especially having great bite. I own 5 basses and this is by far my favorite. Also looks awesome, especially under stage lighting! And the gig bag is super cool as well.
