Jackson Rhoads JS32T - White with Black Bevels Reviews

Solidbody Electric Guitar with Poplar Body, Maple Neck, Amaranth Fingerboard, String-through Hardtail, and 2 Humbucking Pickups - White with Black Bevels

The Jackson JS32T Rhoads solidbody electric guitar gives you instant attitude — sonically and visually. The amazingly affordable JS32T Rhoads serves up thick, snarling tone and prodigious sustain — courtesy of its resonant, lightweight poplar body, string-through-body tail, and two toasty humbuckers. You'll relish the uber-playability of the maple speed neck and fat-fretted compound-radius fingerboard that lets you chord blissfully and shred without fear of fretting out. This axe will command attention wherever you wield it. Say hello to your new weapon of choice: the Jackson JS32T Rhoads.

Awesome for it's price!

For the money this is an awesome guitar. Sweetwater was awesome enough to price match mine in order for me to get one in this awesome color. I like the fact that it looks like a much more expensive instrument than it actually is. When I stare at it, I wanna pick it up. At this price point, it is a high-quality instrument. The compound radius neck is fast and shreddy, making it very easy and comfortable to play. Tuners are decent and do their job, but I don't usually play past a whole step down. Pickups look and sound great for what they are, and I was happy with their sound. I don't plan on swapping them out, but that is always a matter of preference. Standing or sitting, this V is very comfortable to play. I also own a Kramer Vanguard and a Gibson Flying V, and this is the most comfortable to play of the 3. I also appreciate where Jackson has placed the location of the input jack in the upper wing of the guitar. This makes it so much easier when you are onstage and your cable is located away from the bottom of the guitar and tone/volume controls. If there was something to dislike about this guitar, I would have to say it's the location of the strap buttons. But that is not really a deal breaker for me on this guitar and can be remedied with slight modification. I really wish Jackson had placed one of the strap pegs on the neck plate ( it's located slightly above it), and the other further away from the center of the guitar. I realize that moving it further away would place it near the input jack, but I guess I got used to it being there from playing my Flying V. I consider myself of average build and I just think the location of the rear strap button is a bit too close. I can still play the guitar fine standing, but I guess it's something I will have to adjust to. With a good guitar strap there is almost no neck dive to speak of, but with all of my V's I've learned to place my hand on the rear wing when I'm not playing. Maybe that's what Jackson's rationale was in regards to the rear strap button's location. Overall I am VERY happy with my purchase of this guitar and Sweetwater has exceeded my expectations, I am now a loyal customer. Thanks again!
