Jackson JS Series King V JS32 - White with Black Bevels Reviews

Solidbody Electric Guitar with Poplar Body, Maple Neck, Amaranth Fingerboard, 2 Humbucking Pickups, and Licensed Floyd Rose Tremolo - White with Black

The Jackson JS32 King V solidbody electric guitar gives you instant attitude — sonically and visually. The amazingly affordable JS32 King V serves up thick, snarling tone and prodigious sustain — courtesy of its resonant, lightweight poplar body, double-locking tremolo, and two toasty humbuckers. You'll relish the uber-playability of the maple speed neck and fat-fretted compound-radius fingerboard that lets you chord blissfully and shred without fear of fretting out. This axe will command attention wherever you wield it. Say hello to your new weapon of choice: the Jackson JS32 King V.

Simply love it

I am so pleased with this wonderful guitar. Not to crazy about the Floyd Rose bridge set up but other than that it's my go to guitar for speed and a different sound, I'd buy it again

One of my best guitars!

There's just something about this guitar. It sounds awesome, plays awesome, looks awesome. It just inspires me to shred. Sweep arpeggios are a dream on this thing. I've got it on a separate stand at the front of my guitar collection. Now I just need a black one with white bevels!

Worth it.

I've had this guitar 4 or 5 times now. Outta the box the guitar was in playable shape. The trem nut was loose and the jack nut too. It played ok sounded ok, a little noisy. But I changed the pickups to EMG 81/85 combo. It's always hard to deal with the extra long jack for that though. Spent about 2 hours working on the frets with my stew Mac fret kisser. Then polished the heck out of the frets. 2 different grades a sandpaper and then steel wool. Then set it up with 10s. Had to add a extra spring to get the Floyd rose right. Now it's as good as any thousand dollar guitar.

Sweetwater is the place for you !!!!

Guitar is great quality, pickups are not the best, but with a little upgrade will be top level guitar. Gloyd Rose is good. I've been a Guitar Center customer for years, and got really disappointed with their service (never buying there again). Im writing this review pretty much because of Sweetwater great customer service. Im very happy with my first purchase !!! Keep it up guys
Thank you !!!

Wow. Just Wow.

My wife surprised me with this guitar for Christmas. This King V is just plain fun to play. I love my other guitars - Epiphone Les Paul Muse, SG Special, ES 335 Pro; and Squier Affinity Telecaster and Bullet Stratocaster (so you know my general price point). But for metal, this King V just makes you want to tear it up. The white finish with black bevel is stunning to look at and the feel is fantastic. The pickups have plenty of output, but they are far more quiet than the alnico pros on my Epi's. This thing just plain rocks. If you are on a tight budget and you could only have one guitar, I would recommend something a little more versatile - like an Epiphone Les Paul or SG with coil splitters or a mid-range Squire Strat. But if you are privileged enough to be able to own more guitars and love metal, you NEED this King V JS32.

I smile every time I open the case

By Tim from Metro-Detroit on November 22, 2019 Music Background: Novice. Been playing for a few years and have owned many guitars but no bands or gigs or anything.

I've owned several Jacksons over the years, all of them around this price point, and this one seems to be step above the other ones in terms of quality and fit and finish. Sure there are minor imperfections, like with any guitar, mine has a tiny(almost invisible) crack in the finish around the neck pocket. But after some research, I've found almost all guitars with bolt-on necks have this, up to the highest end American Stratocasters. Other than those minor, almost not worth mentioning imperfections, the guitar is flawless. I smile every time I open the case.

High maintenance garbage! Too fragile, very awkward to handle! I'd give e it a negative five star rating if I could! Come on, Jackson! You can do better!
