Surprised Ghost
New Gear Day! Yay! (Silently groan while cutting all the cardboard to get it into the recyclables bin). Just received 7 months to the day from ordered (12/29-6/29) and not disappointed at all. Great job on the initial setup as I am able to play the guitar right out of the boxes. Yes, it came well packed, and in a very nicely padded case. The neck feels smoother and more refined than my Jiva10 and JivaJr on their first day. Definitely quality detail and workmanship in this Made in Japan guitar. The body feels just a tad bit heavier than the Jiva10, likely the weight difference in the bridges, but the JivaX2 bridge feels nicer. Time will tell. Pickups are the same signature pickups as the Jiva10, and they sound amazing. The detail that surprised me is I thought the guitar was translucent white in color. The Ghost is actually a translucent silver gray or light ash in color. Up close the finish is like looking at a pearl seeing the grain patterns below the surface. I placed a sheet of white printer paper on the guitar to show the color difference from what I thought. Regardless, I love it.
