Jazz Bass Professional II
I've been playing bass since I was 12 and have had the fortune to own and play vintage Jazz and Precision basses. This year I will be doing a tour in Japan and decided that I was not going to take one of my vintage basses since they are irreplaceable. So I ordered a new Professional II from Sweetwater and I am extremely satisfied with the instrument. It is somewhat similar to my L series jazz with four welcome improvements. The contoured neck block is a definite improvement for reaching the upper register, the lighter weight tuners improve the balance, the 9.5 radius feels good and the massive bridge is nice. Fit and finish and overall quality is great and I don't find any imperfections. Finally, I went for the Plek setup and the playability is great with little relief and low action. I'm a Fender guy through and through and this is the first brand new bass I have ever purchased. Also, kudos to Adam my sales rep who guided me through the purchase process. Definitely a plus and a differentiator for Sweetwater.
Outstanding Bass
I've owned this bass a little over a year and have found that it is the perfect bass. This thing sounds great, plays great and looks great. No improvement is needed. For me the neck is the most comfortable neck I've ever played. I won't point out features, because they are listed. If I could only have one bass it would be this one. Everyone should try one of these.

Fender/Sweetwater does it again!
I already own a Geddy Lee Jazz and absolutely love it, so I wanted another Jazz with a different look but similar sound for gigging consistency. I did have to set it up for my super light 90 gauge strings but other than, that this thing sounded incredible right out of the box. Maybe just still really new, but I'm thinking that I may even like this one a little more!
