I've been really wanting to get my hands on one of these and I'm happy to say it's just what the doctor ordered!
Well built solution
Sturdy and good sound. I run my guitar into the box directly and out again to pass a signal through my pedalboard and then back into the box. At the same time, this unit allows me to send a signal directly to my amp to hear my guitar. The balanced signals from the J48 are sent to my Focusrite unit, which then sends the wet pedalboard and direct dry guitar to my DAW (Logic Pro X). In this way, I get to hear my amp and send dry and wet to the DAW. For playback of takes, I have my DAW running through monitors and I play the guitar along with the takes via my amp. Livens up the experience of recording. Naturally, I can use the same process with headphones with the Focusrite instead of monitors and amp. The idea for me is to give a live feel to recording but have the flexibility of dry and wet for mixing. Great unit, pro build.
