A great kit to start off with TAMA
This TAMA Imperialstar 5-piece Drum Set has been a solid kit at my church, and over time I upgraded it into a much more professional setup 2 years later. I installed Remo Ambassador Ebony heads on the toms, a Remo P77 Clear Coated head on the snare, and a Remo Ambassador SMT Clear on the bass drum, which gave the drums way more depth, clarity, punch, and warmth. I also replaced the cheap Meinl cymbals with Zildjian cymbals, and that upgrade made a huge difference in tone and musical quality. Now the kit sounds powerful, clean, and expressive, making it feel like a true professional worship and performance drum set. I tuned the kit on the best of my ability and they sound unbelievable. Later on, I will work my way up to get a TAMA Superstar kit.

This is a great set for someone who is a beginner or on a budget. We were looking for something for our church but nothing expensive and this kit came with everything we needed. It sounds great and feels great. And you don't have to change the heads you can if you want to but the head stock it comes with sounds awesome!

This drum set is great. I love it. It is because it really really sounds like a drum set. And the best thing is it is really easy to put it on and take it off. Tama did really well on this Drum set. It is over powered. First thing to do if you want a drum set go to tama and see if you like their drum set. I am sure you will like their drum set. THANK YOU SO MUCH TAMA!

Easy to set up and sounds great. I mostly play other things so this is my intro to drums and in my opinion perfect for what I needed.
