You just can't beat Blackstar tones

I had a Blackstar HT5 MK1 years ago and loved it for the simplicity and great tones. I was hoping this would deliver the same, and man it does!

Crystal cleans, dirty bluesy stuff, classic crunch and metal from 80 to modern. A great suit of effects, and modern IR cabs. Pair that with a modeler pedal like the ToneX One and a good set of headphones... Hours will be lost. This is 100% if you use the USB interface. The Architect software opens up the EQ, and the USB interface with a DAW is perfect for home recording.

I have one gripe and it's something I really hope they can fix with firmware, and it's the "Super Wide Stereo" setting which is set OFF by default everytime you turn on the amp! You have to hook up the USB to a PC/MAC and go to settings, click ON for it to be active. And it's wonderful sounding! Turn off the amp, and "Super Wide Stereo" turns back OFF. It's the most frustrating thing because there is no way to turn it ON or OFF without going through the software.

Other than that, just a absolute stellar amp, that does all the things you could want.
