First and foremost, the pictures on here don't do it justice. It has an absolutely beautiful shell.
I previously had a black panther nomad but unfortunately had to sell my set. They no longer make the nomad so I had to take a shot in the dark (with the help of videos) on which black panther I wanted to go with now. I am not disappointed with my decision. It looks gorgeous, straight out of the box sounds amazing, it's amazingly responsive and just overall is an amazing snare. I'll never own another snare outside of the black panther line.
My primary studio snare drum!
An incredible all around snare that rocks out on stage, but really shines in the studio!! I use this drum as my primary studio snare and it always sounds amazing. Tune it up for a snappy pop, or tune it low for a deep punchy boom. I truly enjoy playing and recording this drum!

Hydro snare
I wasn't sure about this snare when I first played it because I never had a 13" snare but once I tuned it low I started getting why this is such a nice drum. I always had cheap 14" snares and the would buzz and hum and resonate longer than I would like so I thought the 13" snare would remedy all the stuff I didn't like about my old snare drums and it does it is quick to the punch it actually sounds like a recording when you here a nice clean snare hit and it tunes quick, the throw is perfect very high quality overall I like this drum the more i play it
Amazing
I own top of the line Yamaha , Ludwig , Pearl snares . All great in their own right . But the love affair I'm having with my Panther is like no other . The tuning versatility alone is amazing and the throw off/ snare system is the best I have ever worked with . The extra leg room is a bonus .
