I swapped in these excellent pickups to replace the stock pickups that came with my Bullet Telecaster. The difference is amazing. Tonal range and power is great. No more muddy neck pickup. Very happy — worth the expense!

Swapped by pickups that came installed in my Special Edition MM telecaster with these Seymore pickups. The installation was very easy and the new pickup set worked perfect. The increased tone adjustability response was very nice as well as the 3 way switching. Volume seemed greater and kept the Tele twang when using the bridge only position. For $ this was a great upgrade.

I recently bought an off-market "Tele" on EBAY. They're all made on CNC machines now so you can get a really nice instrument for not a lot of money. The fit and finish is nice, frets are nice, but they keep the price low by putting on less that stellar electronics. So I swapped out the tuners and installed a set of these Seymour Duncan Hot Teles. Very nice pickups as are all of Seymour's products. If I acquire another "Tele" style guitar these pickups will go into it. The "sweet & sour" reference is because you can get a nice clean tone that's traditional spanky "Tele" sound, and sour because with a good drive you can get a massive crunch out of them. Very versatile. Another fine Seymour Duncan product.

Nice and hot with the classic tele tone

I put these babies in a cheap Austin Telecaster and I get nothing but Compliments On how great the tone is from this guitar. It was a great addition to a very cheap guitar that makes it sound like a guitar that cost hundreds more.

These pickup will make your Tele sound like a great vintage instrument only bigger. I thought that the Fender Texas Specials were great and they are, these Duncans take the Tele sound to the next level. Big time sustain and excellent overall response makes for a very articulate pickup that will reveal every part of your playing. Including mistakes. So that makes you want to get that much better playing your guitar. Top quality construction made in Santa Barbara, CA and very easy installation makes these the choice of the professional. Can't go wrong here.

First time soldering. I was careful to note wire layouts, which was simple, and watched a tube on how to solder. Took maybe 30 minutes all in. New pickups are much more responsive than 20 year old MIM stock. Very satisfying first attempt.

I put this set in an old HighWay one Tele. It was one of the first made. I love the guitar but it did not have the power for the kind of music I play ,Blues and Rock. I put this set in and this old guitar really sounds good now. It still has the sweetness I love, but now it has the power to keep up. It can drive an amp now, the old pickups were just to weak. The install went fast and easy. SW got them to me really fast. I could not be more happy.
