Bought the new Helix Stadium and the new backpack and hated the backpack. The material was not good and there was very little room inside to store items. It was also really awkward getting the stadium in and out of the bag through the small opening in the top which also had a little tray sitting on it. Did not like it at all and went back to the original bag. This one has much more storage space and you can unzip it all the way around the sides and get the unit in and out much more easily. I also have a lot more room to store headphones and cables and such. Did not like the new one at all. The only reason this is not five stars is that it appears to me the zipper, while it still feels good, it's not quite the same quality as the old helix bag I had previously.

I'm actually using it for a Fractal FM9 which fits like it was made for it. Beyond that, the bag is one of the best equipment bags I've owned. The handles are extremely high quality. The zippers are terrific also. The big pocket stores my foot pedal, wireless, iPad, extra strings and tools. The little one holds my power cable. The backpack straps come in handy and are very well made it's just one really well made bag.

Arrived yesterday. Well made, strong zippers, roomy side pocket for cables, accessories, etc. Smaller pocket for additional storage. If you're going to be dragging your Helix around, this is a must have. Probably too large (long) to fit under an airline seat but easily fit in an overhead compartment.

Great gig bag. Will soundly protect your unit for local gigs and vehicular travel, not necessarily flight (for which I'd recommend the hardshell travel case). Fits the Helix perfectly with plenty of storage on the outside for cables, etc. Works nicely as a backpack. The zippered flaps can feel a little stiff, but they break in eventually. Would recommend for those who want to do more with their Helix than just play in their bedroom or studio. The Helix is a bit of a heavy unit and can be difficult to hand carry. This bag solves that problem nicely.

I've had my Helix Floor since they first came out and the zipper on my backpack was wore out. I recently replaced it with a new one. I contemplated switching to a hard case on wheels but decided against because they would be heavier and larger than the backpack. I like how lightweight but strong the backpack is. Plus the storage room available. I hope to get another 10 years on this one too!

This is a must have for anyone with a line 6 helix when it comes to gigging out and touring.

I've had this pack for about a month and I am impressed with it's quality and seeming durability. Sized for a Helix floor rig obviously, but the additional pockets are perfect for everything else you'll need; power cord, patch cords, foot page turner (for a tablet) and more. It doesn't really have a safe dedicated spot for a tablet, but my guitar case does. The back pack straps are essential because all that gear gets heavy. But the pack seems up to the task!

the case is a perfect backpack for the Line Six Helix, The helix if you are not familiar is a full suit programable guitar multipedal system, Mine is used for Direct Input for our Church Praise Band and the back pack allows me to safely travel, guitar case in one hand and the helix backpack with out worrying of dropping either as I travel, I am also a Corporate Pilot and allows me to transport the Helix with out worry of damage in the Corporate Jet without worry about space as I can store behind my seat, it is light weight and sturdy. Best gift I have received to fit my very mobile life cycle.

Have been using the Fractal at church. They own it. This is what made me decide to buy the Helix. Should have bought last year. It has been a bit challenging as I am not a tech savvy guy. But once I received a little help from my sound guy... i am jamming. Watching videos has made some much more sense with unit in front of me. I am an amp guy, but totally see the reasoning just with all the amps at your disposal.

After heavy use the zippers have worn over time and the outer pocket has caved in a bit. It has been good for transporting the helix.

My son was coming for a visit and he wanted to bring his Helix with him. I spoke with him from the airport and found out he was hand carrying this expensive piece of equipment through the airport. It was completely unprotected so I got the backpack sent over right away. It fits perfectly and is very good protection for this expensive equipment. My son still takes it as a carry on bag, but at least it has straps and handles to use to throw it over his shoulder.

This bag is a well thought out piece of equipment. I can't imagine not having this bag while owning a Helix. It's a must have.

Amazing product

Very nice bag. I use it for the transportation of many items, not just pedal boards. I wished they made keyboard gig bags just like this design.

We needed a better way to transport an Axe FX FM9, 2 expression pedals, a power strip and a number of cables to rehearsals and gigs. This Line 6 backpack works great, there's plenty of space to accommodate all of that and you can easily carry it as a backpack or like a suitcase with the side handle. In one trip you can carry a guitar or bass in gig bag, the Line 6 bag and an FRFR speaker.

It will stand up on its own, has enough space for all the accessories I need, and even came with Velcro strips that I can use to organize my cables with. Definitely worth the investment. I couldn't imagine going with some of the inferior options I've seen people use with their helix to save a buck.

I own a Kemper Stage however, I wasn't completely sold on it's gear bag. It didn't have enough space for all my equipment. I got the helix bag and can now fit my kemper, my laptop, my ipad, my scarlett interface, and all my wires. I'm impressed to say the least, and the quality is through the roof. I am sure this bag will last me many years. I appreciate Anthony Giraldi for all the help he provides here at Sweetwater.

The zippers seem fantastic. They are not. When the break the big is unable to be repaired. The "clever" zipper design is also this bags biggest downfall. The size, perfect…the bag, beautiful……the zippers. Dealbreaker

I bought this over a year ago when I purchased my Helix. I thought it was overpriced but added it to my purchase. I gave it a try rather than my hard shell case and have not used anything else for my Helix since. The Helix barely fits into the compartment but I suppose that keeps it well secured. I carry 2 tablets in the accessories compartment, guitar wireless, strap, electric cord, etc. It's heavy to the point that it surprises me that the back pack holds up. If it were stolen. I would purchase it and the Helix again.

I wrote a review for this bag shortly after I got it. I stand by everything I said in that review. This second review is because the bag is started to rip along the zipper of the main accessory area. There are 3 storage compartments. The Helix area, a larger storage just above it, and a smaller storage towards the top of the bad. The larger storage area just above the helix storage is starting to rip along the zipper. and the hole is growing and about half the length of the entire storage section. I am very disappointed by this. Not sure if it's covered by a warranty or something (I doubt it!) but I would have thought that it would hold up better. It's only been 2 years. Maybe I over stuffed the storage? I'm not sure....but I am bummed. Trying to decide between another bag and a Mono case.

Perfect for my gear

If you have a Helix LT or Helix this thing makes a lot of sense if you play outside of your house ever. Since I play out fairly often I felt I needed some protection for my new investment. This does just that. It's well made, has extra storage for cords, cables, and my wireless unit. The backpack functionality is nice and the materials seem very well made.

My only big issue tis that I really think this should be included when you buy a Helix. Sure, it might raise the price, but who wouldn't want to protect their Helix?

It keeps my Helix safe and has room for all the accessories I need. It also increases my guitar tone by about 500%.

Needed something to carry my Helix Floor Unit around. Was looking at a couple options, both hard and soft cases but most had an extended wait time. I opted, for now, to get the Helix bag. I was surprised at the quality and all the extra room it had for all of my cables, tools, strings etc. and I still have room to spare. Nicely padded, zippers work smooth and seem to be good quality. Has 2 handles and the back straps allow me to carry everything and have a hand free to carry an extra guitar...or beer. Many thanks to Sam Cohee and the rest of the Sweetwater gang. Easy ordering, well packed and fast shipping. I only gave 4-1/2 stars because I haven't had it long enough, but I will give Sweetwater 5 stars.

Excellent accessory for helix

Very sturdy with plenty of room for extras. I am able to keep my laptop in the front pocket with cables comfortably. Still plenty of room for patch cables and accessories. Very well built with plenty of padding. This should last for many years to come.

This padded case is for my Helix Lt and it does a great job of protecting my Helix to and from a Local Taproom.
The padding is very thick and it has two compartments to carry various items needed for a gig.
If there was anything I would change it would be for the main compartment be able to un-zip completely. It is a little big for the Helix Lt - but it still works well.

Was a little reluctant because of the price. But holy smokes. When I got the bag is super secure, perfect for a LT. Even secures all your accessories. They don't move around like in a backpack. Great product.

If you're like me, you carted your Helix around in makeshift stuff for a while like old carryons or duffel bags. Just buy this. The Helix fits perfectly, it's lightweight and easy to carry backpack style and there's great space for all your other stuff. I actually like the smaller compartment on the top as it's a great place to put smaller things like my in-ears, keys and wallet, and I don't have to search for them in the depths of a larger (black) pocket. I have no idea what the loopy things are for though.

So quit putzing around and spring for this thing. You will be glad you did.

The kit is built very well and protects the Line 6 Helix extremely well. Triple means of carrying: backpack, vertical, or horizontal.

This backpack fits my Helix Floor perfectly and has extra pockets and compartments for cables and anything else extra you might need to carry with you! The only downside is the price. For a padded backpack, it is quite pricey but I'm glad I made the investment because I have peace of mind knowing my Helix is protected wherever I take it.

I've used this bag for a couple of years for my Helix. It's rugged and pretty convenient. Worth the price IMO, even better if it comes free with the Floor. I recently purchased a used Roland Jupiter-Xm and when searching for a case for the Xm, I learned Roland doesn't offer one for that specific model. Turns out the instrument has almost exactly the same dimensions as the Helix Floor. Now I've got a doubly useful gig bag with plenty of space for pedals and cables. Hope this helps someone!

Is nice quality bag

Finally decided to get this and not look trashy lugging the Helix under my arm :). It looks great. It has plenty of pockets and space for extra cables. I have in-ears which have quite a bulky case, I can throw that in this backpack as well. I don't have to stick extra cables, and other things into my guitar case. The last gig I played, I strapped this bag on, picked up my guitar and was ready to go.

It is very snug. I doubt the Helix moves even a centimetre inside this bag. Plenty of padding. There are only two concerns I have, which I don't think are issues.

1. This case stands up really well. It begs for wheels. If it had a small set of wheels it would have added that something extra. I know, not the intent, but it seems to be natural, the way it is designed.

2. It is very snug. While this is a great thing, my first thought was "how long till this padding and inner liner gets a rip". The Helix does not have sharp edges so there's no fear of it ripping the liner but its probably an irrational fear that it will.. one day..

So - not real issues, great bag. Glad I bought it.

Plenty of extra features that I couldn't find in a Pelican type case. Extra storage comparts with pretty good amount of room for cables, books, even a few extra pedals if you want.
The padding is good quality and the 3 sets of carry straps are comfortable. You can even detach the shoulder straps and store them in their own compartment.
For the initial investment of a Line 6 Helix there's no way I'd carry this or store it in any other container.
Well designed and very well built! Also features rubber zipper coverings to keep rain and moisture out should you get a weather surprise.

I got the backpack as part of the "Helix Bundle". So far it's working out fine!

Couldn't be more satisfied with the backpack so far. The one complaint I have (and it has no bearing on functionality) is the stinky handles. They smell like skunk to me, and I haven't been able to get them to stop smelling yet. I've had the backpack outside in the sunlight for several days and I can still smell it when I walk in the room where I keep my gear, and I can smell it on my hands after I pick up the pack by the handles. I'm REALLY hoping they finish outgassing or whatever it is they're doing and stop stinking soon. Assuming they do so, my rating would go up to a 4.5.

I try to keep all my gear in either road cases or gig bags, whether for storage or traveling. This one was made specifically for the helix and is both sturdy and travel worthy.

This bag is well crafted, the zippers are sturdy and the pockets are huge. You can fit a ton of cables and pedals in it and still have room.

I got this bag as part of a bundle with my Helix LT. I wasn't expecting g it to be so high quality! I was super impressed. It has super thick padding and the front pockets are large enough to fit a ton of cables and whatever else you might need to throw in there. I dont travel with my gear much but I keep all of my gear cased when I am not using it to keep it clean and away from my cat. It is an incredibly convenient thing to have around. I honestly can't wait to take my gear out of the house just so I can use this backpack to it's full potential!

This is a versatile bag for any music gear. When i bought my first HD500 i had to use a Boss bag as Line 6 didn't have one that fit. They made up for it with the Helix backpack. Lots of space for cables, accessories, foot pedals, and anything else you can imagine. i carry mics, DI boxes for acoustic, power strips, ipad accessories, recording interfaces, etc.

This thing has more padding than any bag I've ever seen. Real nice quality and made very very well.

Love this case! As the Helix is somewhat awkward to carry by itself due to size and weight, this has made my life so much easier. Perfect amount of space in pockets for me to put cables to bring to the gig. The construction seems very well made - much like a modern suitcase. Padding is also seems adequate enough to not be concerned about something breaking during transport.

I got this backpack with my Helix LT as a bundle. It feels really trustworthy and you can even fit some clothes in the big pocket for short trips. More than enough room for your cables, accesories and even for other pedals... Well, that would be if your think you'll ever need pedals after you get your hands on the Helix, which I doubt SERIOUSLY

Great backpack! Honestly it was nicer than I anticipated. I have the Helix LT. It was a tight fit at first. I honestly was upset. But now it's great! Very easy to get in and out. The backpack straps were hidden but very sturdy! Tons of storage! They often do promotions for these things to come with the helix purchase. That's what I got. And it's a no brainer for that. But honestly, it's probably worth it for the $... It's a great pack. Very well built and sturdy! I think that the zippers are even water-resistant. Which is cool! It makes using the zipper slightly more difficult. But if I ever get caught in the rain (I live in Florida) I'll be glad for it! It's definitely not inconvenient. Just not as straight forward as a typical zipper.

There's enough room for me to carry everything I need. Cables (multiple power, ¼ inch, XLR, etc) , a binder of sheet music, extra pedals (Helix Tuner kind of blows), guitar strap, capo, a few miscellaneous items, etc. I've managed to consolidate my entire rig into a guitar case, and this backpack. I'm a one trip guy for the first time in years! It's great!

Mine also came with some velcro straps which I have started using and it makes set-up and tear down faster, easier, and storage cleaner.

This bag is an absolute must have. It is such a great quality piece of gear. You're spending over a $1,000 on this piece of gear, why wouldn't invest in a quality case. There are others out there, and I've looked at all of them believe me and I have absolutely zero regret getting the back pack. It has tons of storage! I keep my in ears, strap, and extra strings in the small pouch and all the cables I need, my surface pro and any other stuff I need in the bigger one! And even though the weight starts to add up with all that stuff, it is still very comfortable to wear on my back. The weight is distributed nicely. Plus I love that it also frees up a hand that way. Great job line 6!

The Helix Bag is truly Perfect for the Helix Floor Processor - Room enough for my Alesis iMultiMix Mixer(Discontinued Unfortunately) in the large pouch with room to spare. Room in the small pouch for my DBX goRack (Discontinued Unfortunately). Well padded and designed.

I bought this at the same time as my Helix. Works great, high quality gives me confidence that this will protect my Helix adequately, and seems to have plenty of room to store accessories, etc.

So, I haven't had this thing long enough to comment on the durability, other than to say that it feels like it is made of quality material and there are not a bunch of loose stitches or anything to indicate it will fall apart.

That being said, it has plenty of room for my Helix LT, cables, IEMs, and other junk that I usually carry around. It is convenient to have 3 different carrying options, and comes with a bunch of velcro (who can't use more velcro???)

Is it kind of pricy for a bag? Yes. Will it protect my Helix? Yes. Is it cheaper than buying a new Helix b/c a cheaper bag fails to protect it? Yes.

Loved it from the first time I opened the box. Sturdy, holds everything I need so all I am carrying is this and my guitar case. Comes with extra Velcro to store all your extra cables. I know there are many other less expensive options (because I had a one before I bought this) but this one is really worth the extra $$ if you have it. So good!

Very sturdy! Easy to carry and has tons of storage. Felt very comfortable on the shoulders and provides great protection for my Helix! It's a must have.

I held off on buying this for a while because of the price, but when I finally did, it was a superb upgrade over the cheap bag that I had been using. I still don't know if it completely justifies the price, but it *is* very, very high quality.

One thing that I did notice is that it gave off a pretty strong chemical odor at first, almost certainly due to the manufacturing process. This could be off-putting to some, but it goes away over time. Opening all the compartments and letting it air out in a garage, etc. will help dissipate it quicker.

Bottom line: If you're willing to spend the money, you won't be disappointed.

it sits a little top heavy the way it is pictured, but with the side handle, I recommend sitting it on its side. More stable and won"t rip over.

Well built and perfect size for the LT. I'm hoping this along with my Mono dual guitar bag are all I need to bring to gigs. I have been lugging, 2 guitars, 40lb toolbox full of cables and pedals, and 40 lb combo amp.

I know, I know. One hundred and fifty dang dollars for a backpack. But it's worth it. I have to admit, I probably wouldn't have purchased it if it wasn't included with the Helix on a promo when I bought it. But knowing what I know now, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

It is *extremely* comfortable, it holds everything you need to plug in and play when you get to your gig, and it's thick enough to feel secure tossing it in the back of your car and not worrying about damaging your precious cargo.

Literally the first time I used it I had it standing on end and turned around to lock my door. When it fell face first I wasn't even worried. It has that much padding. It was like it was landing on my mattress. Lots of additional space for ancillary gear, capos, cords, straps, pedals, sheet music. The back pack straps can be hidden away if not needed. Great quality product. Water resistant zippers are a nice touch.

Might seem like a long review for a bag but if you are a gigging musician you will appreciate it.
Firstly I was very surprised when I got this, surprised at just how big it was, at how well constructed it is, at how thoughtful the external storage compartments are being large enough to hold some real gear, at least 4 15ft cables cables (they even add in a bunch of heavy duty cable wraps) and a strap and tablet with tons of extra room in the large compartment for more... and a couple more pedals and lots of small stuff in the smaller compartment like a clip on tuner, tools, batteries, and then some...lastly surprised that it really IS luggage grade as they claim. I travel the world, frequently, I know what will stand up to rough use and what wont, this bag will last and hold its own. A bit pricey... (just like a top shelf carry on bag) but well worth it since you are putting a $1000-$1500 floorboard in it. Get it, period. Rock on.

I was skeptical at this price point if this backpack would be worth it. I had a Helix before and didn't have a bag and it was a huge difficulty to transport.

I decided to buy this bag to try it out and then see if I wanted something else.

I must say this is the best way to carry and protect a Helix. The backpack vs a shoulder bag is better because of the size and weight of this thing. So much storage. Very high quality build and zippers.

I would recommend you at least give this a try if you're a Helix owner!

This is a very nice bag. It"s a lot easier than I thought it would be to put the Helix in and take it out. It really helps to have this backpack because I now have my hands free to carry my guitar and another bag. I haven"t really used the extra compartments yet, but I"m sure I will eventually. They are very roomy and the Velcro straps that come with it will come in handy for cables. I"m actually excited when I get to use this bag, which is weird I know, but it makes my life easier which is a good thing.
The quality of the bag is very good. It honestly seems a touch overpriced, but it serves its purpose so well that it"s worth it. I"m a little worried that the handle straps won"t hold up. They seem sturdy and stitched on well, but I think rivets to hold them on might have been a better idea. I also wish that the the bottom of the bag was made extra durable. A thicker rubberized coating on the bottom would have been nice. I could see the corners at the bottom potentiallly wearing out after long term use (i.e. picking it up and putting it down all the time rubs on those bottom corners). The shoulder straps are nice and padded and comfortable. The straps tend to slip too easily in the buckles though and I find myself having to always tighten the straps again after I put the bag on my back.
All in all this a really functional bag and I"m happy with it.

Wow. Okay so after reading the reviews I was encouraged by the great quality reported. But was even more blown away when I got the Product. Do NOT neglect your helix and buy a lesser quality bag. The only thing more protective than this is a flight case. Which is heavy and bulky. I cannot recommend this enough. Worth every penny. If you are looking at this product, you know that it hovers around the 150 price no matter where you look online. That is because once someone buys it. They're not letting it go. Do yourself a favor and buy it from sweetwater. They'll take care of you. Enjoy!

I tried another bag first, but I don"t think there is a "perfect" bag for Helix. I wanted one that was just for the unit itself. In the end, they all seem ill fitting or have too much going on.
This bag is super high quality and the padding is thick and dense. The handles and straps seems very strong. I"m not sure how functional the pockets are. Plus, they look like an afterthought. As though they had a bag just for the Helix and someone said, "Where will I put all my stuff?" So they jut sewed on two smaller bags.
It looks weird and I wasn"t sure I wanted all my stuff in the same bag as my floorboard. What if I take an acoustic guitar and ambers some of that stuff? I have to switch bags? Anyhow, in the end, while not perfect, I think this is the best bag available for the Helix. And TJ Beechel and the Sweetwater team are the greatest.

Good package! Ballistic nylon, strong zippers with great grab rungs, unit fits firm but not tight, exterior pouches hold plenty of cables and accessories, took me a second to figure out how to deploy the shoulder straps, but once I got them out and adjusted, its a road worthy assemblage.

For some reason I was expecting this to feel like a regular backpack, but it isn"t. It is really rigid, and fits my helix snugly. I wasn"t aware when I bought it that the backpack straps could be hidden in a zippered compartment on the back if you choose, allowing you to carry it like a briefcase without tripping over straps. Plenty of storage for most of my gear, it came with 8 Velcro chord wraps which was unexpected. It has nice padding and I feel confident putting my expensive investment in it. Worth every penny imo. Plus Sweetwater adds a little something extra in one of the compartments, and takes care of you. I love the bag.

Based on the price I expected a high quality bag on par with Mono and other premium lines, and this bag doesn't disappoint. The zippers are of the high-quality, waterproof kind with awesome finger loops for easy opening/closing. Every stitch feels and looks rock-solid, and the padding for the Helix is thick and dense. There's enough storage for cables, in-ears, cables and even a large laptop. The backpack-style straps are well-padded and very comfortable. This is clearly a well thought out companion for the Helix.

With that said, I do think the price is a bit high...

Important note for Helix LT owners: the Helix backpack was designed for the original Helix Floor, which is a little bigger than the LT. There is about a 1" gap between the LT and the top padding strip when the unit is in the bag. This doesn't bother me but it's important to know.

It is very-well built, construction includes what appears to be water-resistant zippers. Padding is very thick, firm where it needs to be and soft where it comes in contact with the major playing surfaces. Storage spaces are also ample. Front pocket is large enough to hold a laptop with a sleeve, or miscellaneous cables. Also included are about 10-15 dual-sided velcro strips for organizing cables and such.

Top storage pocket is large enough for one or two extra pedals, or cellphone, keys, picks, etc.

Handles are top-mounted and side-mounted, with two hide-away backpack straps.

All in all, this is a sweet bag!

i puchased the backpack to store my line6 helix in, when transporting. i wasn't too excited about the price, but i want to protect the helix effects pedal. it is absolutely made to the best possible quality, and holds the unit firmly in place. there are also extra compartments to store cords/extras. there is also a good amount of cushioning to support the unit from getting damaged, too! should last for many years!

It’s not cheap, but it’s not made cheaply eaither. I’ve only had it for a few weeks but it’s definitely well made and keeps the Helix very snug. Good storage for accessories too. Time will tell but seems very durable.

If you haven’t received your helix yet, it’s pretty big. This backpack makes the pedal less cumbersome

Extremely well-made. Heavy duty exterior (think MONO), zippers and straps/handles are thick and rugged. Fits the Helix perfectly and has a surprising amount of storage space between the other two pockets. Yes, it is expensive but it definitely worth it.

It's built well with lots of padding... I just wish I could zip off the extra pockets and streamline the case depending on what type of gig I was going to...

So if you're like me the first question that comes to mind when shopping the Helix backpack is, "Why does it cost so much?" After all, there are many dissociated, lower-priced options available to Helix owners for protecting and transporting our floor units; and, according to the pre-launch hype, the Helix shouldn't need much protection. I think the design team ran over one with a truck, per one pre-launch video, and it didn't break. As for transporting the Helix; it would be cheap and easy to find a Helix-sized carry-on case, the kind with a telescoping pull and in-line skate wheels, to tote it around. "So why buy this," I asked myself? After receiving my Helix backpack the answer was clear; because it's built to last. Unless this thing catches on fire I don't see ever needing to replace it. The material is HEAVY DUTY, it has high quality, water-resistant zippers and the padding is thick and spongy. The only knock I have is that the useless loop strips should have been omitted and the space used to enlarge the smaller compartment. Also, given their commitment to iOS, why didn't Line6 include a dedicated space for an iPad? All things considered, I think the Helix backpack is probably worth the high price because it's so ruggedly built that a life-cycle cost analysis should work in it's favor.

Fits like a glove with lots of storage space for pedals and cords. I looked at a lot of alternatives but this is the one that fits. Great quality and build. Thanks to Michael Eads and his great advice over the years !

This backpack is very well made and well padded. My Helix Floor is a perfect fit, and it it comfortable to carry. The front pocket provides plenty of room for cables etc. Highly recommended.

Amazing quality bag with loads of room! I was scared it would be sort of floppy with the LT model being a little shorter width wise but it's still a snug fit!

This is the perfect case for the Helix. With this over my shoulder, guitar in one hand, and my FRFR EV speaker in the other, it is easy to get your gear to the gig. I'm really glad that I bought the two items together.

A bit pricey for a bag, but it's perfect for the Helix. Not only does it store the Helix well, but all the extra room fits my laptop, charger, cables, etc. Seems very sturdy and well built. No complaints here!

I got this and immediately put my HELIX, and mission control exp.2 pedal into it along with a boss pedal a drive and two cables. When I picked it up and put it on my back I was impressed by the sheer weight that just these pieces had. The HELIX is heavy by design, and you feel it on your back. The backpack is in not way something I would check on a flight and it might have a trouble fitting under the seat on a flight. Overhead compartment should be okay unless you're on a smaller aircraft with smaller overhead bins, but you still run the risk of being forced to check it and then have baggage monkeys throwing your $'s worth of gear around like a trash bag. Even more if you dare use the VERY HANDY in ear monitor case pocket on top. All together it's a well built piece of kit and should hold up to road use for years to come. It's been thought out by touring musicians and clinicians and it really shows. A bit more padding in the shoulder straps would have been welcome as they can dig into your shoulders due to the weight.

Perfect for Helix Control - great quality.

Well I really wanted to give this a 5 but only thing missing for me is molded sides, top and bottom. And I'm only down grading bc of the price. Luckily I got it free with a special on my purchase but at $ they could have made it more protective.

Nevertheless I love the bag and it's a h*** lot better than any other bag they have made and it's made JUST for he Helix so that's awesome.

The Helix fits perfectly and snugly inside. The front pouch is large enough for my laptop, laptop charger cable, and miscellaneous other cables that I use all the time. The smaller pouch holds the USB cable that it comes with, my in ears, my capo, and the power cable that comes with the Helix. The functionality of the Helix backpack is on point AND the aesthetic appeal is too. If you have a Helix and you have to carry around a laptop, cables, and various other things then do yourself a favor and consolidate your gear by buying the Helix backpack.

For a caring case this is one of the best ones I have had. It has plenty of storage. The zippers are made strong so they will not break. The padding is thick so it really protects the unit. The "backpack" feature is the highlight for me. I can carry multiple items a lot easier without having to struggle to carry a case on my left or right shoulder. I would recommend this case.

You know that feeling when your favorite new t-shirt shrinks in the dryer after that first wash (if you wash them)?

Just got my Helix Backpack. I put the Helix in the case, went right in, but I found that even after pushing the Helix all the way down (the bag doesn't fully open, it's more like a pocket a the bottom) the zipper had to strain to get over the top corner. Really? This thing is custom made for just one pedal, THEIR pedal, and they still got it wrong? (I know, other people are happy. They won't be. Here's why.)

What's your experience with putting repeated strain on any kind of luggage zippers? I have a Pedal Train bag with a very heavy duty zipper, more than the Helix backpack I think, and it was broken in 6 months. In this case, the fault was partly mine. The pedals on the board were not that high but there was a little strain and I used a little muscle to get it to close. Now the zipper is shot. Those bags aren't cheap.

It would have been so EASY for Line 6 to design another centimeter or two of room in this bag. But, they didn't. So it's going back, to exchange for the Mono M80, despite the great features, the extra pockets, the form factor, top and side handles, which are just great. It's the perfect case, but unless they give you a lifetime warranty on that zipper (and cover s/h), don't do it. Go with the Mono M80 or something else. Once that zipper breaks, this thing is useless.

This would've been a full 5 stars but the first time I used the main zipper, the zipper handle broke. Minor detail as I can still zip it up but it was a bummer. The bag is EXTREMELY sturdy and contains more than enough storage. Makes gigging so easy. Exactly what I wanted.

Unless you are custom-crating your gear on the road, you will want this for your Helix if you are taking this to gigs and rehearsals. It is very well made and has generous room for lots of other stuff - e.g. there is a pouch on the back that my Westone IEM's fit into perfectly (maybe that's what its for?). Anyway, I'm very happy with it.

The Helix backpack is great! I'm only giving it 4.5 stars, because though it is a nice case, it could be improved a bit, but that's nothing I can fix. Overall it's totally fine, well padded, zippers are fine and seem durable. Unless you are planning to buy another type of carrying case for your Helix or you plan to leave it at home or in your studio, buy one of these, you won't be sorry. You will be sorry though if you damage your Helix!

I quickly decided I didn't want to haul around my Helix in its box like I did when I got my HD500 a few years ago and added this to my order. I was blown away. It comes with a bunch of cable wraps with velcro that stick in the medium front pocket which keep my cables neat and organized as I keep it stored when not in use. The Helix fits nice and snug in its padded compartment. I also have a nice small pouch above the medium one to store my headphones, direct box, and a short 1/4" in. I usually carry around the Helix USB cable, power cable,25" Variax interface cable, a 12" 1/4", and my Mogami 25" headphone extension. It fits really nice and neat in this pocket. It also has a zipper pouch inside the velcroed area which I use to store my iPad in. My only con for this is that I cannot fit my 15" Macbook inside. But even with that drawback it was worth the price tag.

The helix is a tight fit especially if you have the large pocket full before you put the helix in. Plenty of storage for my Pedalsnake for 4CM and Shure wireless pedal and picks and a large bottle of ibuprofen (if you routinely play 4 hour gigs and are over 40, you'll understand that).
Feels pretty tough. Zippers don't like going around the corners of the Helix because it's such a tight fit. Seems pretty padded but it's not ready to be thrown in the bed of a truck. I could totally do a small gig with just this bag, a small amp and a guitar case.

Very helpful bag to haul my Helix BUT... The zipper for the Helix part jams a little. The size is very, very tight without anything in the other parts. One would thing they would design it with room enough for the unit AND let it zip up. Two drawbacks for an otherwise smart idea.

The Helix fits in its compartment and there is ample padding. The other compartments have plenty of room for cables, guitar straps, picks, some may even put a laptop in the larger one with the "x" on it. Zippers seem durable. I wanted something as lightweight as possible to cart the Helix around. With everything packed up it is still on the heavy side but nothing like a full pedalboard in a flight case. I wouldn't check it as baggage but it wasn't designed for that. I think it will hold up for a long time.
